Rosedale Golf & Country Club

Can't give it a 5 star. Had a very nice outing with friends, first time for myself and two others. It was great to have a friend that had already played it several times which steered us around throughout the round. My only beef is that the carts did not have GPS. With a course of this stature and even more with the layout it has with several doglegs but more importantly, hidden water and other hazards that can't be seen from the tee, this course is a must have GPS. I'm a low handicap and did not have a good playing day due to injury but having my regular game and not having a friend that had played it before, it could have become a very frustrating layout to play because of hidden hazards from the tee. Other than that, an excellent and fun golf course to play.

Rosedale is in better shape than almost every course in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. The greenskeeper has done a phenominal job in preparing the course. My only negative comment is that the course is entirely too thin!!

To be honest I don’t want to rave too much because I’m wanna be able to get out here.

I’ve played several courses in the Tampa and Bradenton area the last 15 months and this one will be hard to top. From the podium guy to the pro shop,range, putting green and the starter it has a top notch country club vibe. Green lush fairways and beautiful greens that are actually receptive.

Water, ice and restrooms on the course is a plus. Pace of play was good. Has White sand bunkers and plenty of water to be challenging but fair. Loved the layout! All in all a wonderful golfing experience. Keep it up Rosedale!! I’ll be returning first chance I get.

There should be a $30 course. Layout is awful I played the back tease, and so many shots had trees in the way.teeboxes greens were the only thing that were almost decent. Find something else and save your money. Staff was nice, but what can you do with a poor track like that. Singles twosome sent out individually. We waited on every hole.

While on vacation and playing another course a couple of people I was matched up with recommended Rosedale. It was similarly priced to the course I was playing but was twice the course. Conditions were excellent. Played the front 9 in under 1.5 hours and the back in under 2 hours. Good value for the money in peak season.

Except for maybe some private courses, these have to be the fastest greens I’ve ever played in west/central Florida. Great pace at 3.5 hours on a packed day. Only con, if any, is the price that should drop in the summer but worth it if you’re visiting or find a hot deal

Excellent ,… but expensive. The rack rate is $145, it goes down to $ 135 after 1 pm… getting a golf now hot deal , which is hard to find ,brings it down some.

Range balls included. And it’s unlimited, also a good chipping and putting area.

When visiting Sarasota this is a must play.

Typically in the $130-$140 range for greens fees, but we lucked out on TeeOff with a 20% discount. This is a fun but challenging course nestled in a very nice community. They have a very good practice facility, and the course is in excellent condition. This is probably one of the nicer semi-private courses you can play in the greater Bradenton area. We've played them all and it's definitely in the top five.

Nice course that really needs GPS golf carts considering the trouble you can get into and the price paid. No map on card or cart. Lost a couple of balls due to blind shots or unknown trouble. Fast greens.
