White/Blue at Myakka Pines Golf Club

Staff are outstanding. Golf is great. Good course.

Used golf pass to pay less. Just an average decent course to play a round.

Got paired up with a family and we played three different sets of tees. Appreciate multiple tee boxes to accommodate varying skill levels. Course layout is relatively straightforward - very few blind shots around corners. Fairways were in good condition. Some sandy spots on the greens. Mostly greens were good speed and rolled as expected. Bunkers in good condition - sand was consistent throughout. Like many courses in this region, drought is impacting fairways and greens. Lots of alligators to distract you.

Good value and reasonable pace of play on a weekday morning.

No complaints other than the pace of play was very slow. Paid for 18 holes but only could finish 11 due to running out of daylight. The front 9 took about 3 hours.

First time playing since last spring. Hardly recognized the place when I pulled up to the gate. The coarse itself had much less wooded areas between the fairways and tee boxes.. all in all the improvements on the course were nice. I guess it was the area surrounding the course that disappointed me. Hopefully Weldon park will soon be done building. The coarse was still very nice and one of the nicer ones around. Some Greene’s not in the best of shape but it has been a very dry winter. I enjoyed playing and hope to be able to play again, but have a feeling that prices will keep going up to the point where I won’t be able to afford it.

Extremely slow play! Teed off at 1:48 pm ontime. Waited on every hole on the Red course. Then the same on Blue, most of the time with 2 groups waitng on the tee box. Three groups waiting on afew.we walked off the course after an hour and 40 minutes brcause the sun was setting. The issue, there was a group of 4 carts and 8 golfers who where playing like they were on the PGA Tour. They were holding up the whole golf course. There was not a ranger on the course and the Pro shop was not answering the phone. I called them numurus timess. Not happy I paid that kind of money for a place that just doesn't care about your experience.
