A Decent Beginners Course

A good course for beginners. Many short par 3 holes with a few par 4s. Water in play in only 1 hole, but many holes have large ditches on the sides. A few well places trees invited our golf balls behind them, otherwise a straight shot to all holes. Many greens were dry and burnt, with little to no weeds or crab grass. Tees were well worn with lots of divots. Fairways were hard packed, but easily playable. Got the last golf cart as there are only 20. They didn't have my registration on the hand written books since I booked it online. Once they looked on the computer, they found it. Course wasn't busy, so it didn't matter anyways. I would play it again with my wife as she enjoyed it also.

Great, Friendly Executive Course

Sometimes, a little, local course on a perfect spring day just reminds you how much you enjoy golf in the first place. The Village Green is just such a course. It's not Augusta, nor should it be. It is where friends and friends to be get together and play a friendly round.

Over charged us by $20.

On March 20 I booked 4 persons with carts for $34 each for a March 25 tee time. Total $136 with tax included. When I got to the course they charged me $73.98 for two and my friend also paid $73.98 for his 2 people. When you consider the $136.00 minus the $20.40 prepaid, the total should have been $115.80 or $57.80 per couple. So overcharged us $21 per couple or a bonus for the apparent unscrupulous pro shop of $42. Can’t deal with people like that and tee off and golf now should not either.

Fourth time this month

The course is easy to get on to, but will always be pretty full. If you don't like waiting for the group ahead of you to finish putting - look elsewhere. if a leisurely round is okay - try it. The staff is great and so are the greens. The fairways are dried out in March as is all of this part of Florida. Being a short course you won't have many shots from the fairway.

Great tune up course.

After two hip and one knee replacements, I'm in need of a course to turn up on. This is an excellent spot to focus upon your short game. Tees and fairways really could use some work. The greens were in very good shape.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful. If you need a cart, you may have to wait. They could use a few more golf carts.

Not worth your time

Tee boxes had little or no grass, greens were like shag carpet and need a hard hat to play here.

Bad golf course

No carts available!!!!! I had to walk and being over 64 and dealing with cancer I struggled.

The tee boxes, fairways, cart paths were horrendous. Greens were very good.

If the owners aren’t going to put any money into keeping the facility nice they should think about selling.
