Course in good shape
Course was the best condition of the course we played, they just need a ranger to keep pace of play better.
Enjoyed.
I enjoyed my round very much. The staff were very polite and easy to talk to. Got us out and playing very quickly. The greens were a little slow for my preference, but very playable. All in all, good value.
Vacation Golf
Course was nice , lil heat stressed on the fairways on couple holes. Greens were soft/slow. Grain /speed was true all day making them way playable. Tee boxes could use a lil love. Played in 3h 45 min. Will play again.
Great course, poor staff friendliness
Course was great, no complaints at all. The ranger was very rude and kept driving behind us saying we would not finish in time when we were ahead of pace. There were 2 4somes in front of us that teamed up and he would not do anything about it. Very rude and unprofessional but overall great track and great views.
Fun Course
The staff was super nice and efficient. The course has some really nice view right next to the intercoastal water way. good conditions
In good shape
Fun to play
Played Palmetto side. Course was in good shape. There are some spots on greens that lacked a lot of grass but they still all rolled true. There were some rough looking spots on tee boxes but I can’t imagine how hard it can be to keep everything “pristine” as some seem to expect. Seems like place stays busy. I played as a single in afternoon as tee sheet was wide open it appeared but ended up being very busy. All staff I came across was very friendly and welcoming. I would play again. Idk if this is always the case but greens were very wet in front. Couldn’t bounce anything up.
Golf was Good - the rest could have been better!!!
The layout and the condition of the course was great. Bunkers were well maintained and just enough water to keep you honest. Various tee boxes for all levels.
The people working there are top notched. The only negative is that they didn’t have enough help to open the half way house and only one cart grill (didn’t come by until the back nine - way too late).
The big negative was the food - eat before you get to the course.
Always a fun course
I always try to play Myrtlewood Palmetto when I'm down on vacation. The course plays a little long, but it is fair and they keep the turf and greens in good condition. Even though the course is built in a huge housing development, there is still some great scenery as you're playing. I arrived that day of play to find we were covered by a wide area of rain that was eventually moving out. However, as this was pushing tee times back of schedule and I needed to be done earlier, they agreeably accommodated me with another tee time the next day. Really like the course and staff at Myrtlewood.
Great fun course
Real busy on a Friday afternoon took just over 5 hours
But fun playable layout plenty wide great array of tees for talent level great staff
Paid 90 or so
The Myrtle beach club members get it for 45
I’d say 60 would be about right but market level is what it is
kc okeefe boys
Pro shop and marshals were extremely helpful and cordial. Had a handicapped gentleman that could only play nine and it made his trip memorable. Thanks again for the help and understanding.
