Golfer Reviews
Welcome to Myrtle Beach
Great course. Located right by the airport. A good challenge for the average golfer. Good course conditions and Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice course after the renovation
Greens are in good shape, slow but this time of the year they always are that way. From the tips is is a very nice challenge, and the bunkers are amazing.
Whispering Pines
7:08 Tee Time for 2 players; Started off with small bucket of balls at driving range and hit a few putts.
Greens were in great shape; Fairways in good condition evem though it rained almost every day during the past week.
Bunkers were raked and had an inch of fluff on top.
Worth the 5:30AM wake-up call!
Great Course But Slow This Time
Love this course but on this day not enough was done to keep play moving forward. Example: 3 groups backed up on tee boxes. That were par 4’s and 5’s. Other than that course was in great condition and everyone super nice and helpfully.
One jerk on staff ruined the round
Unfortunately for me and my wife our round was ruined by one jerk on the staff. We were harassed 3 times about getting cart back in by 7:40, including this guy yelling as I stood over a putt that we needed to hurry while in reality still having 15 minutes to play the final hole. The course is actually challenging and in good shape but it only takes one jerk to ruin it. The management should take action.
Worth playing!
I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is looking to specifically play golf and for the love of the game. A good price and great condition conditions. Yes there are many courses around Myrtle Beach that are far more pristine and has all the bells and whistles, but it is all about just to play golf. This is your course and I would recommend it to you to give it a try. I played my best round so far this year at this particular course.
Pleasant Surprise
First time playing this course, and found it to be a pleasant surprise. For a municipal course it was in good condition. A few tee boxes needed some help and a couple of fairways need some help as well, but this time of year almost every course has some issues due to weather and heat. Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly and extremely eager to offer assistance. For the price I highly recommend this course.
