Mike's Golf
We like this layout and the water makes it more of a challenge. The greens were sparse but it is that time of year when grass is not growing.
Slow play
We have played here before and the pace had been ok. Today we were behind 3 twosomes and one threesome that had no idea about golf rules. They were slow all over the course and the group in front had two players sharing golf clubs. When the marshal did show up instead doing something about it he took in the opposite direction not wanting to confront the issue.
We will give this course one more shot and if they do not in prove we will play golf at other courses.
Not the best greens
Greens not the best and the course was holding water even though it hadn’t rained.
Dexter
Friendly, helpful staff. They went out of their way to give direction to this first timer. The course was wet due to the recent rains thus a lot of cart path only holes. I liked the course layout. The only problem I had all day was some greens were grainy without much grass.
Especially enjoyed reading the signage honoring past officers of MBAFB.
Do not give this place your money!
Last minute round, looked decent from the road but this place is garbage There is nothing good about this place. Literally nothing. They should invest in a greenskeeper that can actually keep the greens. Most of them had large portions that were unplayable. Bunkers were dirt/mud combo. Luckily I didn’t end up in one. There must be bots giving the 4 stars.
Not bad
I was pleasantly surprised at this course, I knew it was close to the airport but there are only two holes that you actually could see that
The course was very wet even though it hadn’t rained in a week, the marshal said they were overseeding and watering but I doubt that as there were small lakes around!
Overall I would definitely play it again as it’s a good layout and challenging but not too challenging!
Fun course
Greens are a little tough this late in the fall but overall nice course can’t wait to play it in the spring pace was a little slow but when it’s 80 in November course is going to be packed
Good time
The pace of play was the best that I have seen for a long time here. The greens were so do and the fairways need some work as there were many very soft spots with water. Outside of that it was fine.
Great course all around
Played with my wife and couldn’t have been happier. Fun course to play and friendly and accommodating staff.
Great day!
Exceptional hospitality all around and a great day with my wife. Fun course and can’t wait to come back from Northern Ontario to play again. Highly recommendable!
Rough Shape
Course was in bad condition. Greens had a lot of bare spots. Bunkers are awful (dirt, not sand. Some were mud, though it hasn't rained in weeks.) Fairways were very hard.
Nice course
Not a country club but great layout. Very fast greens. Happy we played the course.
Great History and Great Course
There is nothing quiet about this course. It stands out with excellence and quality.
