Great golf
Played two 18 rounds. Greens had fresh fertilizer put down so that’s why the 4 stars. Great weather 80 degrees.
A great course, poor condition
We played in April, conditions were very dry attributing to the poor course conditions, so I would give it a pass on that. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is a course that would be a great play in the golf season.
Enjoyable round !!
First time playing this course , the staff were friendly and professional from the clubhouse to the starter very friendly and helpful . After reading some reviews about pace of play I was surprised how smooth the round went which made it enjoyable . Fun track to play definetly will play it again on my next visit
Fun course to play.
Great layout. Tricky pin placements. The staff was exceptional.
Great layout and potential to be a better course of their conditions improve, especially the greens.
Starters and Rangers
The starters/rangers were either grumpy they were for working the Thursday masters or were ball busters. Man O war/ Wild Wing plantation and Beachwood all got tips. I’m glad you guys didn’t. Also only course that needed carts in by 7 when sunset is 7:45. I would recommend beach wood way over this course. They probably only get value for being right by airport. If these guys were not as rude they would have gotten a cash tip. As a 12 some bachelor trip you guys didn’t bring the right vibes. And this is coming from someone who has worked on a golf course for ten plus years. C- for no southern hospitality.
Course needs a good bit of work. tea boxes all dirt greens also lacking grass just seems to get either a lot of play or being a municipal course is not getting support from the city of Myrtle Beach would be convenient to play if you’re flying out that day airport next-door, but it’s tired!!!
Great course, had a good time!
Booked as a single the Saturday before Easter. Play was a TOUCH slow with a foursome in front of us taking a while.
Might have been better with more space between times, our time on the first tee was 11, we didn't start till about 10 past & took 2 1/2 hours for the front.
Other than that the course was in great shape, driving range was grass and I was able to find a good spot to practice.
Will definer go back!
