A breezy day and some very difficult pin placements (not the first time I've seen them)....overall, a challenging but good day on the course.
Prince William Golf Course
Good thing I was happy just to be out playing on such a beautiful day. Course played long and a few of the greens had a lot of slant/slopes with horrible pin locations for the average golfer. Hope I don’t have to play this course again anytime soon in next four months.
Tee Box Issues But Overall GOOD!!!
Tee boxes were a little chewed up and pace of play was slower than usual but the rest of course was fine.
What you would expect
The course is in decent shape. Tee boxes need some work and a couple greens had some rough spots but overall it didn't change my game. Staff seemed to be a little off their normal friendliness today but everyone always has an off day at some point. Overall a good time!
The entire course was in terrible shape. Tee boxes were mostly dirt and large leaf weed, fairways are 50/50 dirt and grass, and the greens were so rough it made putting almost impossible. I will not play this course again nor would I recommend it.
Nice course, beautiful nature
A beautiful course, wide fairways and difficult greens. It had rained the day before, all bunkers were more a lake than a beach.
The clubhouse was closed at all.
NO Alerts
They had no Alerts to the public that the greens were still in repair and more than half the staff was out with Covid 19 quarantine protocols. No club house access or course amenities on a 95* day..
Good Course
Love the peace of nature that this course presents. Very enjoyable round of golf.
Good Course Under Covid Conditions
Course was in good shape, low rough but tough for rough. Greens were sandy, understood; a few wet/bare spots normal for this time of the year. Unfortunately they did not offer score cards due to covid we were told and no food or snacks you could pick up and you were not allowed into the trailer/clubhouse. Overall a good course to play under covid times. We had a 0640 tee time, great pace of play.
