Whispering Pines Golf Course

Love it when a course ranger kindly clears the way with the group in front to let us play through on the next tee.

Will always come back to play here.

Good reception at the beginning. Course in fairly good shape with nice greens. After our round at 5:40 my wife and I went in the clubhouse to change and possible have a drink. Everything was closed. We quickly changed and at 5:45 à very grouchy employee asked me were I was going?? I just ssid outside to wich he barked at us to use theback because he had locked the front door. I kept my composure but this was uncceptable . I havent s'en obtenir à proshop and clubhouse close at 5:45. Very disapointing ending.

Course was in good condition, staff was friendly, and felt it was worth the price to play. Would recommend and would play again.

As courses are teired in Myrtle beach, this is a lower tier, it is good for what you pay. They have a few green issues, overall in really good shape. Greens were fast, really like the layout, not an overall tough course but fun to play.

Just average all around. Lots of work to be done to have the course reaching it's potential. A little disappointed.

Rough fairways and mud hard sand bunkers... One green totally scraped.

But the layout is pleasant and the stuff helpful and friendly.

I guess a reasonable deal after all.

Starter is great, pace was quick, fellow golf mates from West Virginia were super. Great value and experience. Thanks for a great start to the holiday.

The layout is fantastic! But i would say the bunkers were almost unplayable and that the green on hole #3 needs replaced. Some greens were in immaculate shape. Would play again for the price. Very reasonable. My hot dog i ate at the turn was not edible but the people were very nice!

It’s been 20 years since I’ve played in Myrtle Beach and the course was very well laid out. I was concerned about airplane noise, but that wasn’t an issue. The biggest problem was the condition of several greens, with some literally having dirt spots within feet of the hole.

Second time playing this course. This was the third course while playing at the beach this week. Great course for the money compared to the other two course. Other two courses were a little costly for the shape they were in. Will be sure and play again on my next rip in August.

The greens were in really bad shape. Fairways were ok but definitely not worth the $60 I paid to play it. Was very disappointed.

Over booked Tee sheet. 3 or 4 groups waiting on each hole on a 1pm Wednesday tee time. Greens were like putting over a cheese grater

The course has been recently aerated and some greens were being repaired. The overall conditions were playable. Whispering Pines is a local favorite for me.

Nice layout,but when you don't see on the website that greens were recently aerated and only find when you get there you have little recourse. Course was generally nice but could probably use more water; particularly the greens. Would play again in a different season and hope for somewhat better overall conditions.

The greens were the worst I ever played on the other 3 people I played with said they should have let us know how bad the greens were
