Faldo at Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge Resort

First time playing this gem. Lots and lots of sand but plenty of space to land your ball on the fairway. Course was in great shape and the layout was fantastic. Highly recommend this course.

Challenging course with 109 bunkers but makes it interesting and fun compared to most courses in the area.

We played the Faldo course yesterday and had a wonderful time. The course vistas were exceptional. The course and amenities were very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming . Would definitely play again!

No complaints on the course, excellent condition, very enjoyable layout. This was our second trip and one thing has been consistent: The rangers on the course are RUDE and constantly want to hurry you along regardless if you are on time or ahead of time. Case in point, on the first hole one of our players hit it right in the desert and hit a provisional ball fairly quickly. The Ranger had a fit because he hit a provisional. We are scratch golfers and play by the rules in order to have a valid score. He chewed us out over the provisional, ON the FIRST HOLE no less! And I guess we got on their naughty list after that because they were harrassing us the whole way around, even though we ended up playing in 3:50, way under time par!!! You have to be VERY FAST players to play here, or if you aren't be prepared to skip shots or even holes because the rangers will be on you the whole way around, regardless if you are ahead of time or not.

Anyway, that is the reason for my low rating....the RUDENESS of the rangers, not the course.

Excellent layout, excellent condition, practice facilities very good, greens fee includes all the practice you care for, great clubhouse and restaurant. Golf carts fast so helps pick up pace. Greens were in great shape, great design and challenging both speed and undulations

very nice course...have played it approx 8x in last 6 months....always a good time....not so easy as there are many bunkers on the course so if you dont like sand you may want to check out the sister course.....Palmer......

Would rate it solid 5 out of 5. Great conditions. Great layout. Nice staff. Convenient range and practice area. Faldo course certainly had lots of bunkers to avoid...tough but fair.

We are staying at the Canyon Villas and wanted to play this course. We were not disappointed. The course was in great shape and it was very challenging due to the many sand bunkers strategically placed on the course. Would definitely play this course again when we return for a vacation.

What a blast to play this desert course! Better b a good bunker player! World class staff outside and inside! A must play in Scottsdale,

Pace of play was excellent. Coarse condition were great.

Beautiful golf course,fairways nice and lush, greens consistent but slow, wish they were cut!!!! Nice variety of holes, only complaint was one cart girl for 36 holes!!!

I would score it a 90/100. It would have been a 100/100 if it hadn’t rain.

Nice track, lots of bunkers. Course in great shape. Greens were very slow.

Beautiful course, well maintained. A lot of sand traps, no water for this time of year. Front nine good pace but we bumped against 2 foursomes on back and cut 4 holes off to finish in daylight. Would play this course again with earlier tee time.

I didn't play the tips because I haven't played in a while, but those definitely make this course a great challenge. Great Layout and the Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd replay it again for sure.
