Great course with no houses in danger

Great course always in good condition. Pin locations can be tricky with fast greens. Cart paths are in rough condition, don’t pour your drinks too stiff. The pace of play can be slow and the ranger (chubbs) complains of online booking and going to a cookout every time we play “need to be done by 5 I got a cookout to go to” but not speeding up the groups of 4 holding up play like it’s the PGA tour

Great course, great value.

Crown Park is a very good golf course and always fun to play. The price to play has always been good and hopefully it stays that way. The greens had been aerated recently which made putting difficult but, understandably, they have to do it. The tee boxes could use some improvement but every other aspect of the course is great. Routing and diversity of holes makes a round enjoyable. The course is challenging but fair. Hit the shots the design requires and you’ll score well.

Great value for the money

Crown Park is a course that has drawn me back to play each of these last two years while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. The staff are more than friendly and made me feel welcome as I’m usually on my own. The course provides enough variation and challenge for my golf game and I always feel good after my game regardless of how I played. For me it’s a must play ech year and I most likely will play once more before the end of my current vacation.

Hidden gem that has been found

It used to be that playing crown park was usually a quiet day. Not any more! Looks like , along with housing development, the courses along rt 9 outside of north myrtle beach have been found. Even with a good crowd play moved along pretty well. I have always enjoyed the course layout with a variety of holes. I look forward to playing there when we visit in fall and spring.

Nice but so slow

Need to space the groups at least 12 minutes apart. 5 1/2 hours is excruciating.

Nice course a bit outside Myrtle Beach

Course conditions were pretty good the staff was very friendly.. Several holes required some finesse off the tee - you can't always grip it and rip it. The course was full, but pace of play was pretty good. I definitely will be playing here again.

Good Value and fast greens.

Friendly staff, fast greens, worth the trip from Myrtle Beach to play. Had Sunday pin placements. Overall, very nice and will play again if I am in the area.
