Nice course
Fist time playing this course. The course was in good shape. The greens were slow and I believe because of sand even though the greens looked good. I hope the sand is because of the late summer in preparation for fall golf. The next time I play I hope they are faster. Fairways and Tee Boxes were great. It was a very good deal for the cost.
Overall very good
Enjoyed playing it has been awhile since I have played the crown. Course is in very good condition. The only issue I have is the greens are slow, perhaps holding off close cutting due to dry weather. Otherwise, fairways, tees, and green conditions are best I have seen here.
Will play again
Good course in very. Good condition will be playing this course again and again one cool side note Sunday is ladies day for locals great tee time prices. So ladies check it out
Beautiful round of golf
Great day for golf, light breeze 86 degrees and partly sunny. Course in excellent condition for upcoming World Amateur. Greens were fast and true, even after rain the day and night before. Staff as always was very helpful and greatly appreciated.
Nice layout but slow greens
The course layout is interesting but they need to mow it down to let the ball run. The greens are slow. That said, we got our money’s worth.
Great course and good value
Course was in great condition. Some holes were challenging. nice layout. Played in the afternoon and there wasn't any slow play.
Well Kept But Funny Layout, Smelly, & Mosquitoes!
Overall I enjoyed the round. The greens, fairways, and roughs were very well kept for the level of course. Especially the greens, and that is usually the first downside to a cheaper course. However, it was so stinky throughout the course! Distractingly stinky. A smell I have never smelled before, but I would imagine algae related? I would even blame my rocky front 9 on the stench. The mosquitoes were out of control too. I play Diamondback just down the street quite often, and they don’t have this issue, which means it is fixable. These were some HUGE mosquitoes too! Looked like Capri Sun straws hanging off their faces! The course has a bit of a funny layout too. Lots of long trips in the cart to the next tee, doubling back, the sharpest doglegs I have ever seen (multiples), and a par 3 finishing hole. Although, minus the smell and the mosquitoes, I would love to come back and play this course a few times a month. Until those issues are resolved though, I don’t think I will be back.
