Great shape!
Very beautiful and we'll cared for course. Would play again anytime.
Soggy and slow but worth the effort
I played on the hot deal special for $20. This was an exceptional value!
The course had received multiple inches of rain over the past week from tropical storm Beta. There was no on course flooding, but, this made the putting speed wise pretty impossible to gauge. I had to really crush putts that were any length to get them there.
I was paired with two gentlemen who play the course often and that was very helpful understanding the lay of the land. There are water hazards through that you need to understand and are properly placed, so pay attention.
Don’t expect to get favorable bounces out of the trees. I deposited about 4 balls into the woods, surrendering them to the golf gods!
Once the course dries out, you’ll get significantly better playing conditions I’m sure. My 280 yard drive carried literally 6 yards after impact because of the muddy subsurface.
Great course overall though.
Wettest Course on earth
Cart path only after 2" of rain. Seems like every time I play here it's cart path only after 2"of rain. Must be the only days it rains here. Greens were slow, probably cause of the rain, guess they didn't cut them. I wouldn't tell anyone not to play here but I would not put it on a list of must play.
crown golf and great day
This was a great day of golf with my wife ! The golf course was in great shape and fun to play. We played River Oaks--- bad and Valley at Eastport not as good as last year--needs work! We will come back here next year !!

Great course
I played after a day and half of rain so the course was soggy but a great course. One of the staff said new owners bought the course 2 years ago and they are working on improvements that the previous owners let deteriorate. Once the improvements are complete this course will definitely be worth the drive to play.
Nice course, decent layout, underwater
Overall the course was in 3.5 out of 5. Recent heavy rains washed out the fairways, rough & traps. Recent aeration & seeding monkeyed with most putts.
Very nice layout and challenging course with lots of swales, water hazards and sand.
Nice course
Well maintained course, pretty scenery in country with no houses, staff was nice, price is good for what you get - recommend!
Slow play
Nice course, friendly staff. No rangers to speed up some very slow players. Fun course but pace was unbearable
Great for a Mid Handicapper
Played in the afternoon. We arrived early and they let us on early. We played in under 4 hours and that was with two rain delays and letting a single thru.
The staff was friendly, especially the cart gentleman. Withd the rain, you could tell the pro shop personnel were not over bored that we were playin but they were cordial.
We really enjoyed the layout. Number 12 is awesome! The course has just enough holes to challenge you and a good mixture of water, tap placement, and Dog legs. A couple greens need some help. Fairways are really nice. The rough is playable but can be a challenge.
Nice clubhouse with a grill and your typical merchandise.
Highly recommend if you have time to play this course.
