Charming people pleasent course.
We love Crown Park. We have played this course six rounds and plan to visit again soon.
decent course
short yardage over all, 5 or 6 sharp doglegs or creeks/lakes across fairways on par 4, where you hit something less than driver. greens and fairways were good, tees not so much.
Love This Course
Always try to play there when down in NMB Area. A favorite, for sure.
Want to play again
As first time playing the course I can’t wait to go back layout has many doglegs that were easy to drive through the fairway. Greens and fairways had recent aeration And lots of work being performed on course. Which is why I want snother chance to play it
Don't miss this experience
Worth the drive, great course, great people adds up to a wonderful time!
George @ Crown Park
Excellent staff! The course has improved tremendously the last 4 months. Would recommend this course to anyone, anytime!!!
Course has a challenging layout and the greens roll true - enjoyed playing the course and will be returning soon
Awesome
What a great corse ! Best all week , I would play this on every trip down here
Undulating Greens
This is a somewhat challenging course, given the water hazards and undulating greens. It is very well-maintained. Speed of play was great. considering the hot and stormy weather. The beautiful pine trees make this course a pleasure to experience.
course condition
The course over all was in good condition. I would have given it excellent but for the fact the greens were aeriated making putts tricky and not true. The tee boxes were excellent and there were green keepers and workers on the course cutting and cleaning the area. a good sigh the course is constantly kept in good shape
Crow. Park
Staff is excellent and friendly. Course improves every month I play it. The layout is excellent. 9 out of 10 rating with a 10 just weeks away by this Fall. OUTSTANDING!!!
Hurricane golf
Great course, even the day after hurricane land fall. Course drains off nicely. Fantastic shape.
Cant handle the heat get out the kitchen!!
Cart attendant failed to do his job. The other guy with glasses and mustache is very cool and helps load up also gives pin placement and tips. The older gentlemen working today needs to find a new job if he cant handle the heat. Then he sent me off 10 with people coming up off 9 and rushed me, I had my 5 year old daughter with me who could not play for people behind us. He sent a twosome whome he was all friendly with off 1. I dont like being rushed especially because of the cart attendant sending his friends off number 1, This isn't New York, we treat people with respect down south, showing favoritism to others is disrespectful. Yelling out the clubhouse while someone is warming up is plain rude. Course was wet and cart path only, it was hot. The staff could be a little friendlier and ask kindly for you to finish your warm up (guy behind counter in clubhouse)rather than demanding you to do something.People acting like they own the place when they clearly work there is typical behavior. I will be back because I like the course, but if I get rushed and or interrupted during my warm up again I will spend my dollars elsewhere. I am not driving a hour to be rushed especially when it could have been avoided by starting people who weren't even warming up and there after me where they should have been started, off the back. Also the cart attendant never once even offered to help with any of my gear he probably couldn't pick my bag up if he wanted to.Sat in the shade complaining about how hot it is. The other gentlemen I tipped him for helping me previously, but he was not there today. Course was wet and only saw one maintenance mishap by one green. Also they have no ranger, attendant said cart path only and watched from clubhouse and came out on first hole and that's it. I watched multiple people drive through and make big huge mud tracks further back picking up balls off fairways that they were not playing. Again the attendant on duty is responsible for keeping that in check. Too hot for him to venture out of the shade I'm sure. On top of all this the place was not even busy it was 1 in the afternoon. I would hate to see their coordination on a busy day I bet there is little to none. What did I learn from this, heat brings out the worst in people. What the two gentlemen working today should learn, you are a long way from home, watch how you talk to people. It's not what you say it's how you say it.
Excellent!!!
This place gets better by the minute. Sand was dry today and the first par 5 on the back 9 is the best looking hole I have ever seen! It looks artificial that's how good of shape that hole is in. Staff is very nice@@. This course might be my favorite of all time most definitely the flavor of the month!! Watch out for the raccoon squirrels they are super friendly! Greens are very hard to read for me! On in 2 means nothing.. pay close attention to the read they are very deceiving, you know why, because they are in such good shape! I wish this course was closer but well worth the drive!! Highly recommended!!
Hidden gem in my eyes!
! Only thing I dont like is the sprinklers wet the sand. And they run them a lot, is probably why the course is in such great shape. That's my only complaint. Of course I'm always in the sand with my luck. This is a awesome course. Gives me the feel of some pro's practice course. Which it very well may be. It is challenging, but not over dramatic and far from boring. If you live within a hours drive you will not be disappointed. If you go offline you can find your ball quite easily also is another good thing.
