Nice layout a couple of very challenging holes greens very fast we all had fun
Very nice Course, challenging but playable
This is a very nice layout, great shape considering the rain they have been getting, the course is challenging with lots of water, but from the right tees anyone can play the course and have a good time
Nice layout
Wife and I played Crown Park and found the course to be in very good shape. The course was very crowded, and took 4.5 hrs to complete. The course is a very fair course with no tricked out holes. The greens rolled true and average speed. Most fairways plenty wide. We would play the course again.
Great course! Very organized!
Please do not play in 5 somes when it is busy and definitely Do Not play a ball from whites and then from gold when it did not work! Really?
Other than not respecting pace of play in group play before us we love this course.. Great day! Staff is awesome! Would highly recommend!
Course is well maintained
The weather was outstanding and the course was in very nice shape for February. There were a few holes that were cart path only but that presented no problems. The course has water that comes into play on quite a few holes but again that was no problem if your playing smart. The greens rolled true at a medium speed and had a few interesting breaks. The staff, especially the pro shop and starter were friendly and engaging, a pleasure to talk to. I would/will definitely be back to play again in the future.
A Chinese torture
It was a nice day for golf, a little cool, however the sun was hot. The course was in great shape only a couple of holes that were cart path only. Then I caught up to a foursome.. I was playing alone. We all on the same tee. I got off the cart and watch as they hit. Then I watched as they looked for balls. They were all over the place. Finally they made it to the green. Then there was a major discussion before and after they putted. This continued until they finished. (another player did drive by myself and said something as he went by them as he got tired of waiting. It did take away the fun of the round, however, not course. I have been told that that course was purchased by a group of Chinese. It is possible they were the owners as they did play like they did.
good course
had good day playing although cloudy and on the cool side
Consistent Value
I keep coming back to Crown Park because of the consistency of the course given the trying wet weather conditions and the staff. I have tried many of the courses in North Myrtle Beach and buck for buck I prefer Crown Park. The best value in my opinion in North Myrtle.
Andre
Cart path only extremely wet, definitely no roll and many plugged balls.Lot of holes were almost non playable, they should have indicated somehow that the course was pretty wet or even close the course for a few days to dry out a bit, I know they had a lot of rain in December but look look at it this way it was sunny and nice to get
Great Value
Beautiful course worth every penny. Can challenge yourself while still shooting for a great score. Quiet surroundings make for a memorable round..
Perfect for Me
This course always delivers for me. I love the course and the people are great. Hole #12 is my favourite in Myrtle Beach, it has everything, water, sand, dogleg and well protected elevated green.
