Great course for the money
Great public course. I'm also a novice so Great course to practice. Also it's conveniently very close to our home.
Had the best time
It was cold And windy but i had the best time. Lots of par 3 hole perfect to practice your irons. i would go back any time.
Nice Course
Really nice course. Unfortunately due to the 40 mph winds I only got through eight holes but I would love to come back and play a full round here. Staff was super friendly. Even let me take the cart out to my car to unload my bag. Greens were really fast.
I won't be back.
we started on 10 and it took nearly 2.5 hours to play that nine holes because there was a fivesome ahead of us that was extremely slow. in fact there were a number of golfers that left before finishing their round.
The traps were terrible with not even an inch of sand and scratched the club. I finally just took a drop if I landed in one.
The policy states that fivesomes are not allowed yet we were behind fa fivesome on both sides and in fact I saw one group that had 6 players.
Since we started on 10 we had to wait 15 or 20 minutes before we could tee off on 1.
not a good experience..
Golf Chef
Had a good round nice course and in very good condition
Rate of play good greens a little slow
Teenage 10-somes allowed??? We'll never play here again.
As a beginner to golf, my wife likes this course, and even got her first birdie on this day!
The guy that checked us in at the pro shop is the wrong man in the wrong place, he has a hearing problem and cannot hear a guests answers to his questions, then gets upset with the guest when he cannot hear. He is rude and condescending to guests.
The golf course was in rough shape after the recent flooding, tho we could see that the maintenance crew had done a lot of work already.
On the 9th hole we encountered a 10-some group of high school players who refused to allow was to play through. Why is a 10-some allowed to play? And now they believe they "own the course"??? They pay a very reduced rate, and now they kids are running the course??? Over-privileged brats you are enabling! I predict they will lose matches for blatant rules violations.
We will not be returning to Durango Hills.
