Siena Golf Course

The green was not very good lot of bumps and dry sand traps was either rocks or too much soft sand

Cold and Snowing temp dropped to 39 asked course for rain check after 9 they said to talk to you.

A lot of the course looked like it was under repair. Greens were extremely slow and not in the best shape. Fairways were decent for the most part. Sand bunkers were like hitting of concrete. Also the pace of play was terrible. On a brighter note, the views from this course are pretty awesome with the mountain to the west and the strip to the east.

Enjoyed, but why have a ranger, slow play, waited on every tee box. Glad I was with my buds otherwise it would be painful.

The course has been let go. The conditions are horrible. Bare dry fairways, scraggy rough. Unmarked new rock barriers . Greens ok. Teees are weeds and bumps. I feel bad fir the homeowners in the 6-7 hundred k homes for their views. It’s a shame they don’t do anything about it. Starter rushed us off 30 minutes early. They we waited and played 4 1/2 hour round. At least range balls were complimentary.

Excellent layout with a friendly staff. Course is tough with lots of waste area and undulating fairways. Not a level spot anywhere!

Even more than many other golf curses which were apparently designed in a state of fear that new golf technology would have casual golfers birdying it up, this course is absurdly trapped with yawning bunkers (including in fairways often) and elevated undulating (and often hard) greens,. Moreover, the sand is often hard-packed and the greens often don't even hold your shot if you manage to scrape yourself out of one of the bunkers, so you can easily end up in the yawning bunker on the other side of green. If you somehow, manage to stay on the green or fringe, expect ridiculous breaks in putts, such as two foot break on four footer, with the risk of tree putting or even four putting often present. . And just in case you are able to negotiate all that, several of the holes had the most sadistic pin placements to ensure no rec golfer manages to get too many pars or otherwise have fun, once again not being mindful that shot might or might not hold anyway.

Don't they want us to have fun. What's up with these pin placements on all the courses, as if preparing for a pro tournament ?

Range balls included, nice putting green and friendly staff.

Siena is a very good golf course ....The course conditions should reflect it.

Just moved to Vegas and went out to Siena as a single. Larry (the starter) and his wife asked me to join them. 2 wonderful people and terrific caddies. lol Couldn't have been a better day. I'm a low handicapper and the greens were very good, tees, fairways and rough all very good. Bunkers, as everyone there seems to already know are very difficult, especially with the lack of sand. Staff were all terrific. Great value all in all. I'll be back, soon!

We’re it not such a busy day I would have ranked the entire outing excellent. My only criticism is the prices in the pro-shop, very over the top.

the course is enjoyable, but you need to avoid the many bunkers. The greens were fast and a somewhat bumpy.

Fairways are not in good shape. Landscape has been neglected. Not enough carts as I had to wait for one, and the battery ran low. Pace of play way too slow with no marshal

Friendly staff, beautiful course, challenging layout, Definitely a course I would play again next year. We were intimidated by its beauty and atmosphere but quickly felt comfortable after talking with the gentleman in the clubhouse. Everyone from start to finish treated us great.

Finally replaced the sand in the traps! You actually feel like you want to hit out of them now. The course is coming back but still needs some work. Great cart girls and appreciate the water containers that are always ice cold and full. Keep it up and it will be the Sienna of old.

Course going through change in seasons. Fairways are spotty, but greens OK. It's a challenging course, you need to think through tee to green. Today was miserable with 5 hour round. Staff unable/unwilling to keep participants on pace.
