First time back after many years - very impressed
It had been about 10 years since my wife and I had played the Duke, but we won’t let it be so long before our next visit. Got a great deal on Golf Now and really enjoyed the day. It was just after overseeding but the course was generally in good shape, notably the greens. Layout is more interesting than we remembered as well. Staff were super friendly and helpful - all in all, a very good experience.
prices went up a lot from last year, almost out of our budget which is not good as we love this course. We would like to play again, hopefully there will be deals coming up.
Double Charged
I paid online via Golf now. However at the front desk, I was asked to charge to my card for temporally. Then they charged full amount to the card and never refunded.
Pace of play- very backed up
The course was extremely stacked up and there was no one from the course monitoring it. We ended up having the play the front 9 again because we wouldn’t have been able to finish the round otherwise.
First round after overseed
Course is very green. Greens were expectedly slow. Fairways and Tees are really good. Outside staff was outstanding. Really good value. We needed a ranger. Group ahead slowed everyone. Group behind us quit. Most of the cups were crowned. Need to do a better job cutting cups.

Course recently opened after overseed process. Greens a little slow but we had a great time. Had something to eat and a couple of beers at the bar and all was good as usual. Staff is professional and fun to chat with.
Great
Overseeding was complete, cart path only, fairways were great, greens a little slow, but great speed for overseeding. 40 mph gusts made it interesting at times but worth the trip.
