Cart Path only so pace was a little slow, but fully acceptable. water and water damage on the course due to the heavy rains. They were still working on pumping some water off and trying to make repairs.

Only back nine open. At one time this was a very nice golf course but seems to go down hill every yr. Really like the lay out but needs a lot of work. Golfers in general don’t fix divots on the course and on the greens. Take no pride in trying to keep the course up. To bad

Have played here dozens of times over the past decade plus. Could never figure why the seemingly annual flooding could not be prevented but, then again, lots of higher end courses around the Valley are sporting large water hazards where fairways usually run nice and green. Three days after some epic rain The Duke was entirely playable. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were lush--better than could be expected so soon after overseed. Will never understand why people can't be bothered to sand their divots. We did 200 and every par 3 tee box. If you aren't part of the solution...right? Give these guys a chance and book a time or two. If more of us show up maybe they will throw a Marshall out there!!

GolfNow failed to indicate that only the back 9 was open. So you paid the full rate, finished the back 9 and new groups were now on the tee box and I had to get in a queue. So I quit and only played 9 holes. Very disappointed in GolfNow. It’s a long drive to The Duke to learn at the course only the back 9 is open

Front 9 was closed due to flooding so played the back 9 twice. Course was in good shape for recently opening after overseeding. Fairways were surprisingly good and greens were okay but fuzzy and slow; which is understandable.

Course conditions were soft and the greens were slow. This is fairly typical after overseed efforts.

Will try again in a couple weeks.

Cartpath only. Im 80 years old and ran out of gas ⛽ the last couple 💏 of holes, but it was fun

First time here, they have recently opened up after re-seeding. We loved the course, great conditions despite the heavy weekend rains. Fairways, teeboxes, greens... all in great shape. But... can't give a course 5* if there are no beverage carts on the course.. Can't wait to play it again.

Played the course twice, I have found it to be a very enjoyable course and you can make it as difficult as you require by playing the different level of tee boxes.

The course is currently going through its re seeding process and is cart path only, hat off to the grounds crews as they have been doing a great job, The greens are a bumpy and take a couple of holes to adjust to, cant wait to play them when they have been cut and rolled.

Perhaps Golfnow and Golf course management aren’t aligned but I paid for 18 holes and after I arrived to the course for check in, I was told only 9-holes are open. I was not offered a refund, nor a rain check.

Is Golfnow going to issue a refund?

While it is my favorite course, it was in post-reseeding "cart path only" phase, which creates very slow play.

we had a bad experience with golf course superintendent. I felt degraded when he said to me "can you read" when I told him "I am sorry I didn't know it was cart path only" . I even gave him a thumb up and ready to get back to cart path, I even apologized to him that I didn't know. No one told us and we didn't pay attention to the sign. I accept it as it was my fault but he has no right to yell at me. I will never to go back to that course again.

I give it a 3 start since the operation manager email and apology for that incident. They are great people working at that golf course but there is always one bad apple in a basket.

All around great course, not super challenging, very friendly staff, great vallue. Would highly recommend.

Golfnow doesn’t tell you that prior to booking, you will see it after and if it’s a hot deal you won’t get your money back.. we showed up this morning 730am tee time at 1020am we finally made it to the back 9. Gave up after 9 holes. Course is cart path only, greens are sh^t, very very slow play, every person is out there trying to take advantage of this “special” long story short, drove from Glendale to play a sh^t course, much rather pay triple the price and have a course in great condition than play this junk. What a waste of my time. Not coming here again!

Our foursome played the golf course on Sunday before over seating began. I accidentally left my rangefinder on the golf cart as we loaded our bags. When I realized that I had left it there I went back to the course and the pro shop was closed. I finally managed to reach the pro shop staff and told them that I left it on the cart and that the young lady cleaning the carts Had to of found it. As we were the last group out on the course. Unfortunately it was never turned into lost and found as someone decided to keep it for themselves instead of returning it. My mistake for leaving it on the cart but I had played here many times and had no reason not to trust They would do the right thing by turning it in. Bottom line secure your items and don’t trust of the staff and take care of you if you make a mistake and leave something valuable on the cart. I love the course but I’m certainly disappointed.
