An afternoon round
Played at the Duke at 1:40 pm, course is in good shape, better than the last time we played it. Greens are good. Pace was good, just over 4 hours. Outside staff were great!

Rude Staff, no course control
Played behind a group of 6 people. When I called clubhouse they finally sent out a ranger on the 12th hole. Ranger must have known the people in the group because he then came back and told me to "quit bitchin and wasting his time".
No way to run any type of business.

Pace of play was perfect. No waiting nor someone pushing. Course in good shape. Weather was gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Played The Duke for the first time and I was very impressed. The staff at check-in were excellent. The facility has an excellent practice area and range. We teed off on time and the pace of play was very good finishing our round in just over 4 hours. Like any course in Arizona the bunkers are just alright. The greens were fast and have a lot of undulation. Took me nine holes to figure them out. The course has some very challenging holes and the homes around the course are far enough away so that you don't feel like you are playing through a subdivision. I will return often. If you have not played the course check it out!

Good value for the money
Nice to be able to find a nice course for reasonable prices at this time of year. Course was in very good shape. About 40% of bunkers have amazing white sand and the greens are in very good shape. Wide open forgiving course Definitely will play again.

It’s getting better…
Much improved from last year but still work to do to make it worth the price. It looks like they are putting some money and effort into course improvements.

Course continues to go downhill
Used to be good value for money ten years ago. Rough area are embarrassing now. Old bunkers are crap. Fringes of everything is neglected. Cart lady only saw us once. No marshall keeping pace up. We were over four hours after 14 holes and quit then. $100 is way overpriced for this course now.

Fun course
Challenging layout.. Greens have lots of breaks and are in very good shape. Fairways in good shape. Some bunkers had the brown crunchier sand and some had the white fluffy sand. I think the white stuff is new. They may be changing them all over to this sand. The white sand was a little deep. It needs to settle.
Pace very good for a Friday afternoon. This place has very good practice facility.
