the restaurant was closed and the pace of play was terrible, we had four groups on the first par three and we waited on every shot
Course pretty good staff a little unfriendly.
Overall decent
Marshall came down hard on us when we drove into waste/dirt area to find ball inbounds.
Acted as if we should know and that it was clearly marked inside our cart. It was not. We finally found reference in small print on score card local rules. How were we to know?
Instead of just letting us know he gave us a warning. Not exactly friendly.

Don’t play if your a “greens” snob.
Greens are very slow and ball bounces all the way to the hole.

Pace of play was quite slow. Close to a 5 hour round. Course conditions were ok at best.

Long delay
Tee time was around 1. There was an hour frost delay so we finally got out at 145ish. Golf shop guy was getting drilled by players due to the late start. He showed patience. We always love the course. Overall a good day. Be back after Easter.

We don't need that kind of abuse...
It was a bit of a rough day: there was a long frost delay, and the round was slow, but there's not much that can be done about that. The golfers understood, and they were in good spirits, but dealing with the staff in any capacity was less than friendly. The cart crew was not helpful, the guy at the front desk was down-right rude, the starter couldn't be bothered, and the beverage lady was not friendly. If it were just for the course, I would be back, but the issues with the staff have left such a sour taste that the course isn't enough to redeem the experience. Get it together, Duke.

We made a tee time late in the afternoon. There was a frost delay, of which we were not notified. We get there and they told us there is an hour and 10 minutes delay. So now we will barely get nine in, but they would not discount the price.
