Greens are poor with ball diets on them. Not the best course for the price

Great Value
The Duke is worth the drive from Phoenix. The course is fun to play with some challenging holes. The course conditions were generally very good.

Played nine in two hours, solid greens, nice fairways, it’s helped to rope off close to greens to keep carts from going everywhere

Rancho El Dorado
We had a second home at Rancho El Dorado for 10 years on the 7th fairway. Last year returned and organized a family outing, two foursome groups. Course was in great shape and has it challenges for everyone.. Beer cart has good deals and the food at the grill is excellent! We finished under 4.5 hours and still one of my favorite courses
coarse takes drop in condition
In July the course was in the best shape I've seen it in over 30 years. After the monsoon rains the course was in poor condition. When we played in December of 2021 the course still wasn't in very good playing condition. I like the course, just hope it gets in better condition.
The “Duke”
We are from California and we owned a second home in Rancho El Dorado for ten years. The Duke was our home course. Well maintained and a challenge for all level of golfers. Elevated tees provide a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and wide open fairways provides forgiving landing areas for the errant drives. A Beautiful finish on 18. Great grill and bar for the 19th hole also

Unmemorable
A long drive from the Scottsdale that will make you wish you’d spent a few dollars more for something better. Greens are well maintained, pace of play was great. Overseeded narrowly so all holes have wide swaths of dormant Bermuda on both sides. Design is vanilla, couldn’t describe a single shot that required any thought or a view that stayed with me.
