Aerated Greens
The greens were aerated earlier this week and are rather bumpy. Also several areas that are staked off as ground under repair. I’m happy to see both and shows the grounds crew are taking steps to keep the course in great shape.
TO THE DUKE!
My favorite course in Arizona. Unfortunately, it is still too expensive to play there very often.
Good value, Nice greens
First course we played after landing in Arizona from Connecticut
The course had a very nice little practice area, two practice greens, one for putting only. Decent driving range, hitting off grass.
The course layout was semi basic and straightforward, but in great condition. Nice fairways, great greens. Some of the hazard waste areas were very loamy and soft, while others were more hard packed. Rough was dormant and somewhat thin. All in all a good course at a great value. Would play again.
Great morning round
Got out at 7:15am the course was in perfect condition, the greens were relatively fast and had plenty of movement. Fairways can be narrow and there are a ton of fairway bunkers, really solid challenge. First time playing here was really impressed, can’t wait to come back
Very good condition.
I’ve been coming here for 4 yrs and the rain the last few months have made the conditions the best I’ve seen.
Beautiful course
Really beautiful course and cool scenery through the neighborhood, staff was really friendly and genuine. Course conditions were really great, greens were all consistent and ran a lil fast. Would play this course again and high recommend it. The duke!
Nice condition
We’ve been coming here for 4 yrs. This year’s conditions were the best yet due to the rain in Oct. Fairways much more lush. I always find the greens challenging with breaks you can not always anticipate.
Best condition out of overseeding
I’ve lived out here and been played this course for the past 15+ years. This is the best I have ever seen this course in coming out of overseeding. The fairways are in great shape. The rough is a little high, but makes this course a little harder you need to keep it on the fairway now.. looks like they’re putting more money into the course which is great. As they just added GPS to the cart.S finally!
Great shape
Still some incidental water from the rain but nothing that really affected play. Tons of fun
The Duke rocks
I don't travel to this course often but am always reminded how much I love this course layout each time I play. It provides enough variety and is reasonably priced. Practice facilities are very good and staff are friendly. Course was in great shape and I had a great time!
