Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
About
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Golfer Reviews
Good Conditions for Summer
First time playing Silverado Golf Course, and for it being the dead of summer, the course is in pretty good shape. Some dead spots in the fairaway, but that's to be expected this time of year. Greens were a little slow, but most of them rolled pretty well.
Back nine is really quirky. Not sure I like it, especially holes 10 and 14.
Great Course
Very Fun course and has a good layout. Staff Very Very Friendly
grass needs maintenance
The staff is nice and the course and the carts were good. There was cold water available. But. There was hard dirt and bare patches.
has no driving range
The people working there excellent to chat with and very helpful
Slow, over priced
Extremely slow, Rangers useless “3 hours on the 12th tee is normal “!! 76$ after 9am in July is criminal! I have played this place twice, my first and last time!
Eh
The starter didn’t care about anything. You got to tee off when ever you were ready. No range. Just nets to warm up in. Greens were good. Fairways had some wet spots but other then that in good condition. Pace of play wasn’t bad but when you let a solo go out then 2 ladies then 2 more out followed by a solo player, why didn’t you combine them starter?!?! Won’t be back unless someone Loayza for my round or win a free round. Better courses with better amenities in the valley then Silverado
Play elsewhere
Let me say that Kenny in outside services was the high point of the round. He was awesome. The course is on the worst condition I've ever seen it in. For $76 in July look elsewhere. Fairways burnt out, green dead and low spots all over and most bunkers either saturated or non playable die to standing water. We had to play lift clean and place as even in fairway you were either on dirt or mud. Very lemme grass. Very disappointed. Had to apologize to my friend for booking as I used to play her very often and have never imagined it to be in this bad of shape. Played an east valley course for$18 last week that was in much better condition. For the price Silverado has to do better. Again Kenny's personality and friendliness made it bearable
Always a great round of golf here!
From greetings at the bag drop off to completion of play, everyone and everything at this course is professional and more indicative of a private course than public. We always enjoy a round of play here, no matter what time of year. Top notch and friendly service.
Soft & Muddy
Played this course many times in the past but, since I moved, this was the first time back in 10+ years. It was a hot and humid July day, but most disappointing was the condition of the fairways. Very soft, patches of dirt everywhere, and muddy in many places. Proshop and restaurant staff were very friendly.
Used to be the place to go.
Talk about a huge decline in customer service. This was one of the greatest courses in Scottsdale. Now its a poorly ran place thats only good if you like smelling weed. All the cart girls have left who were awesome. Times have changed.
Don’t pay more than $40 for your round
Me and my friends grabbed a 7am tee time for $84 after green fees etc. and my God was this course in terrible condition. The fairway was really just wet dirt/mud with some grass sprinkled in. The greens were bumpy and sandy. The staff was great as usual and the cart girl was very nice.
Not worth $80 in this condition.
