Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club

First time playing this course, we loved the course. People were very friendly and the staff members Courtney, Paul were helpful and friendly made us want to stay another day

I am a new member to Golf Now & made my reservation, a foursome, at Silverado through Golf Now. Our tee time was at 12:22pm. That mid-morning we got a call from our fourth saying he had come down with something & couldn't play. I told the worker in the pro shop & I thought the fee was taken of, but obviously not. I just received an email saying my credit card would be charged $150.00.

Secondly, I and my group have been surprised & disappointed at the big jump in greens fees at Silverado & other courses this year. We have been coming the last 30 years to Scottsdale the last week in January but this may be our last. Most of our guys are from Oklahoma (two even own condos at Sienna 1/4 mile away). I live in western Florida & the guys have asked me to look into moving our January trip there next year. We are not happy about leaving, but when green fees effectively double that's ridiculous & we can play Florida courses for a lot less.

Friendly welcome and a great day for golf. Course was mainly in good shape and was well set up for medium handicap. Would play again.

The staff was outstanding, the fellows working the carts, bags and starting were awesome and so friendly, started our round with a smile!

This course is fun for all levels of golfers. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The course is very well kept. We had a great time!

Shorter course, above average conditions overall but greens were ball marked and only average.

Great layout. Front 9 favors recoverable hooks or slices. Back 9 has some entertaining blind spots. Sight lines are friendly. This course is good preparation for course like Troon North, and Front 9 of Boulders.

Not my first time playing this course. Pro shop advised running on time and starter advised no carts at the moment and 20min delay? Obviously no communication or an outright lie from pro-shop? Paired with 2 fellas who were 2 of 24 in a bachelor party group in front of us. Club had to know pushing this many groups was going to cause problems but the dollar defeated a positive golf outing. Due to delays we only got 15 holes in and had to quit due darkness had to miss the signature 18th hole. Spent significant amount of time waiting at each hole and on the course. Didn’t see a marshall until 8th or 9th hole and he was on the phone most of the time. Most expensive 15 holes of golf I have ever played with my son who was visiting for a week. Won’t be rushing back!

This is one of our favorite Phoenix area courses although prices continue to escalate. There should have been a price adjustment due to the wet conditions and it being cart path only. We did pair up with another couple and, although our round was completed in four hours, there were multiple twosomes wanting to play through. Two will always play faster than four and the course should be pairing them up or advise them that twosomes do not have priority status over foursomes.
