Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Not a great course

This is not a particularly pretty course compared to some others in the Valley - lots of industrial surroundings. The greens were very, very slow and bumpy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Know before you go - there is no driving range.

Mid handicap heaven

If you are a 10-25 index golfer this is the course for you. More than enough fairway landing area and the greens are very receptive. Lots of imagination on each hole to make it fun and not ridiculous for mud handicappers . Can’t wait to play it again . No practice range is the only negative.

Wet conditions

We played at 9am on a day temp. reached 97 later that day. The course had been over watered earlier that morning and many wet spots and very little roll in fairways.

Believe it or not…..

The course was TOO wet early in the morning all the way to 11am. Lots of mud balls in the fairway. Maybe stop watering for the overseeding a bit earlier.

Silverado

Course is way overpriced for what you experience. Front nine is extremely compressed in its layout. Holes are so close to one another and even overlap at some points.

Back nine is much better and has better layout and esthetics.

The price of $182 dollars is ridiculously overpriced for the course even for a morning 8:52 time.

Greens not maintained.

Fairways in good shape. The greens have more divots than I have ever seen before.

Nice but expensive

It is in good shape with a few patchy areas. No complaints other than the price which has jumped dramatically since the last time I played there.

Marshall’s need to monitor pace if play as well as players driving carts on/close to greens, nit repairing ball marks, divots or raking sand traps.

Nice course

My wife and I played this course for the first time. We enjoyed the layout and the conditions. The tee boxes, greens, and fairways were all in very good condition. There were ample water stations, ball cleaning devices, and restrooms. The only drawbacks were no driving range (there is a net to hit into, and bring your own golfballs for that), and no ice chests on the golf carts. It was a pleasant experience, and we plan on going back.

Nice fairly short course

Had a lot of fun playing this course. Played with a member who gave me lots of tips and had a lot of stories. Played in 3.5 hours which was great. Had finished over seeding and I might have played the first day they let carts in the fairways. As always in the valley, corse was wet when we teed off very early and by the time we got to the back nine everything’s was dry. I would play here again.

nice...but

Tee boxes good

Fairways long but lush no roll at all

Bunkers playable

Greens not fast dont hold the line bumpy

If lazy people would repair ballmarks they would be puttable.

cant walk the course too long from tee to tees on the back nine

Silverado — great staff; friendly course.

While Silverado would benefit from an improved warm-up area, the pace of play was fine and the staff was great. Fun course!
