Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club

Hernando Oaks is always a fun course to play....nice wide fairways with not too much water hazards however, some of the greens could use some attention.....the staff is always very friendly and accommodating as they allowed my partner and I to use separate carts. Looking forward to returning there again soon.

Love the golf course layout. Conditions were fine to above average. The pace of play was awful. If the other people would have wanted to pack it in after 9 holes. Just short of 5 hours. I don't understand why people can't play quicker

Course is in need of serious renovations

Tees are so hard you need a hammer to insert t your tee! Course layout is good, and distances are fair. Absolutely necessary is to have your fairway shot IN THE MIDDLE or you will pay a price! Not a course for beginners! Fairways are dry and hard. I will not play this course again and would suggest others do the same

The course is very dry causing rock hard lies and greens that are difficult to hold. The layout is very good with many interesting holes.

on-course restrooms were just port-a-potties. Not very nice. The course staff was very nice but the course needs attention. There were a lot of spots with no grass including the fairways and the greens rolled well but had some spots as well. If it was in better condition it would be rated higher but less enjoyable to play off dirt so much.

Hernando oaks has NEVER disappointed. Fairways and greens were in solid shape. Though fairways were a little squishy early and fronts of greens had to be careful with the bump and run from say 10-20 yards in. However greens were rolling well (even if my putter was touch and go). Great course and well worth our price of $31 today.

There was no drinking water on the course. There was no water in the ball washers, no rakes for sand traps.

I consider this a hidden gem. When people play golf in Brooksville they always think of World Woods. This course is much cheaper and in good condition. The greens are always very good and run pretty quick. If your in the area try it you won’t be disappointed.

If the course was in better shape, Hernando Oaks would be the best value in the area. The greens are large but fast. The fairways were either bone dry and had very little grass or wet and spongy. I enjoyed the layout of the course and the staff is friendly.

Played here many times. Staff very friendly. Great course layout, especially the back 9. Good food at the grill. One of our favs and worth the drive from Tampa.

I always enjoy the layout here. Conditions were typical of winter; fairways and tee boxes are dry and hard, due to long period without rain. Greens were mostly fine. Traps have little loose sand with hardpan just underneath, and straying off fairway is severely punishing here. The likelihood of finding a badly struck ball is poor and a sea of bad lies if you do. 4 hour pace.

The tee boxes were terrible and in my opinion the course really need watering. The greens were ok. But the pace of play was very slow.

The course is generally in great shape I guess I just played on the wrong day. I enjoy the course very much. I play here at least twice month.
