Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club

Ready for a great day to play golf,,,,tee box’s were wet and very little grass growing on them.not much good grass in the fairways at all. Lots of wet areas all around the fairways so you had to be careful..once you got to the greens, lots of dead grass and not really being taken care of very well...staff were very cold and never said a word about how wet in was in some areas...a great layout but wish they would put some effort in customer relationships and work into the golf course...we drove an hour to play there and was disappointed with the staff and course conditions,,

The course is not in bad shape but could be tuned up a bit, tee boxes need some over seeding and care . over all a nice course we enjoyed playing and will play again !

Beautiful relaxing course in the middle of Hernando County. Great price, great company, and a lot of fun.

it's the holidayzzzz,course was very bizzy!,but we moved pretty smoothly...love this trac..as tuff as you want it,or fun and not so tuff,so keep it in the fairway or pay the price of the ruff...big fairways big unulateding greens! love them,stemp around 8/9's fast enough for any handicapper...price is great,check it out when you can,you wont be dissapointed !! tell em teddy sent you..10/per cent off club house smiles! peace! finally!

The rough was about 4 inches high and you couldn’t find you ball if it landed there.

Also the greens were in bad shape. Overall we had a great time and that’s all that mattered

Good value , usually good conditions , would prefer sand installed in traps not dirt

Greens are starting to be overwhelmed by weeds. Need work, puttable as long as you avoid the invasive grass. Too bad the other players cannot figure out on to fix a ball mark on the green.....the very definition of a bad, lazy golfer.

PLEASE turn over the rock hard bunkers.

This course has seen better days. Front nine was a little “scruffy” with spotting greens. The back nine was much better and enjoyed playing it. Course has a lot of potential but ownership doesn’t seem to have the energy to get it to the next level.

starter if that is what you call him was very arrogant to a few people waiting to be able to tee off..seems like there were overbooking as some had t times almost the same...Course has changed a lot and not for the better.

Very nice course. The price was great. The course is forgiving with mistakes but still challenging.

Hernando Oaks is always to good condition....wide fairways, perfect greens...not too much sand and very little water hazards to transverse.....the staff is always friendly and willing to let us ride in separate carts...very important during these "virus days".....looking forward to returning next month....

After golfing on this course it's one of the worse courses I've played on this year. I can't see how they charge so much money to play this course. The tee boxes need to be redone to add grass to them. The rough is so high you can't find your ball unless to happen to step on it. The greens are in terrible shape. Crab grass , ball divots all over the green. Plus bear spots and sand on the greens. I've played this course before and it was beautiful but now its not worth the money.

Great test today. High winds and cool weather. Course in very nice shape. Greens rolling nice. Well worth the trip.
