The Silverthorn Country Club golf course has earned its challenging 132 slope rating through a combination of rolling terrain, unpredictable Florida Gulf Coast winds, and no less than 96 strategically-placed bunkers. Joe Lee designed this course and it offers a mixture of wide-open links-style holes and tight, tree-lined fairways. The 25,000 square foot clubhouse offers a scenic vista of Silverthorn's championship golf course, surrounding lakes and splendid Florida sunsets. This classic blend of southern charm and golfing tradition will create wonderful memories for your golf trip to Brooksville

Lots of traps!

The course layout was good with plenty of fairway, but many sand traps. Conditions were mixed. Tee boxes needed to be mowed, fairways were bare in many places and greens, while grassy, were inconsistent and needed mowing. Trays were hard with a thin layer of sand.

It could be a beautiful course, but needs maintenance.

We were treated excellent by everyone from cart person, pro shop, starter and bartender/food servers. Course was in excellent condition, carts were clean and ran well, food was very good and bartender was very gracious. Would highly recommend this course and all facilities to everyone.
