About
The Silverthorn Country Club golf course has earned its challenging 132 slope rating through a combination of rolling terrain, unpredictable Florida Gulf Coast winds, and no less than 96 strategically-placed bunkers. Joe Lee designed this course and it offers a mixture of wide-open links-style holes and tight, tree-lined fairways. The 25,000 square foot clubhouse offers a scenic vista of Silverthorn's championship golf course, surrounding lakes and splendid Florida sunsets. This classic blend of southern charm and golfing tradition will create wonderful memories for your golf trip to Brooksville

Good course
Good course I love to play the scores I especially like to play it because the staff is very friendly and helpful and courteous and do everything they can to make it a pleasant experience for a golf day
Awful conditions - avoid
I’ve been playing golf most of my life and this was the poorest maintained course I’ve ever played at. The conditions were bad, fairways barely had grass and sand spots everywhere, greens were thick and extremely bumpy, tee boxes were weeds and sand. I would definitely avoid this course and look elsewhere. It’s a shame bc the layout has promise.

Moon Entry
Entry into the greens is comparable to the face of the moon. Pits, holes, dirt, little grass. Silverthorn needs to rope off the enter ace to the green to prevent carts from driving and parking up next to the front of the greens. Carts are destroying these areas while the solution is quite simple

Great layout, awful fairways
Greens were in pretty good shape and layout is fantastic. Fairways were brutal. Staff was friendly and amenities great. Too bad about fairways.
