Three holes were underwater. They’re coming back course is in great shape worth playing even at the discounted price.

The course is still working to come back from the Hurricane Milton. they have 3 holes closed but for the most part the course is in decent shape. The only issue I had for the day I played was, it was a day a High School team was playing and they were walking. They were on most holes and were spread out around the course. I thought it might have been better to shut down the course for a few hours, rather than have folks trying to play around the students walking. Then when they finished playing, the adults begin giving them rides back to the clubhouse, cutting across the fairways and holding up play numerous times. Did I mention this was at 10:30am, when I thought most students are in class on a Monday morning. Just under 5 hours later I finished my round of golf, as a single. But again, the course is in decent shape after the hurricane. This was the first time I have ever experienced anything like this at Sherman Hills, hopefully it will be my last time. I do understand High Schoolers need to get out, I'm just used to them playing in the afternoon, not in the morning.

Been driving past this course for a few yrs. My Curiosity finally got the best of me. Booked a tee time and really enjoyed the course. Fast smooth greens. A couple rough spots on some but nothing to leave a bad taste in my mouth about. Traps were good. Fairways and rough well well manicured. Didn’t get to play 13 thru 15 as Withlahoochee river was out of its bank. Definitely a 3 season cours. Summer not so much as very little shade. Will be returning soon when they get the other holes in playing condition.

The course is beautiful 3 holes were un playable because of the recent storm /they should be ready next week

Played this course a few times and it was in decent shape. Called to verify if the course was open since we had just went through a hurricane a few days prior. Would have been nice to know that part of the course was closed due to fallen trees flooding or whatever. Can’t complain about the course conditions it’s been in good shape for a while just a heads up on a few holes being closed. Will definitely be back. Love the lay kit. Not to many courses in the area have any type of elevation but this one does.

Came on Friday after Hurricane. Had been awhile. 14-16 closed due to water, but this course is gorgeous, greatly -maintained with wide fairways, a somewhat challenging rough, and faster greens. Good deal.

Sherman Hills is always in great condition......and the "temporary" greens on the back are now permanent.......the greens are cut close and fast....fairways nice and wide with minimal bare spots......however, some holes require a straight tee shot as water and the woods can come into play....overall, a fun course especially from the forward tees......

I called early am and got a tee time for.1:00. Arrived early and they got me out. Jessica in the pro shop was awesome. She guided me to the nice clean carts, first tee, and the tenth tee. Course is very forgiving. Only negative was three greens were closed and they had 3 mock greens mowed short with a big cup. I was a little disappointed after paying $49.00 and not being told or even a few bucks off. Otherwise, a nice layout. I will return to play again .

somebody should let you know course conditions when they sign up to play for a tee time we had 3 temporay greens. not right!!!!

Great shape except for the three temporary greens.

Played here for over 20yrs now and a couple months ago it was as bad as I’ve ever seen it. But it was really good to see how great it’s getting now. They’ve finally put new sod on the 3 greens that have been problems and it’s looking good. So only reason for not giving 6 stars are the 3 temporary greens.

Sherman Hills is in great condition...nice wide low cut fairways and smooth fast greens.....with just a couple of temporary greens soon to be permanent....not too much rough, sand or water hazards....just a fun course for a high handicapper ......well worth the drive from the Port Richey area....

Course was in great shape and pace of play was exceptional.

Course is in excellent condition.. Especially the greens. They have 3 temps as they have sodded 13, 14 and 17. Those should be open next month. Had a HOI on 13 (my 5th) so great day with a good group!

For the most part the course was in pretty good shape.
