Sherman Hills Golf Club

The course is in great shape fairways are nice and plush, rough will make you pay. There are three greens on the back that are under duress but overall it’s a great place to play. I wish the greens were faster, but understand why they keep them slow.

Other than the greens on 13 and 14 the course was okay. They are working on getting them back up to par. The rest of the is in good shape.

Sad to write this review as Sherman Hills has always been one of my favorite courses to play. It’s been a while since I have played so don’t know when the new rules went into place. You are not allowed to stop for lunch at mid day, in the summer. You must order lunch before the 9th tee and pick it up and keep moving. The feels like temp was 110+ the day I played. I was told the staff would be yelled at and that if the manager came in, my group would be yelled at. 10-15 to cool off and eat half a sandwich is not asking too much. We saw no other group on the back and pace of play was fantastic. Not sure what the rule addresses but we have scratched Sherman Hills from our list for a while.

The Greens are recovering nicely. Still have 13, 14 and 17 that they can't seem to get squared away, but the rest of the course is in real good condition.

This course is really nice. There are a few greens that need some love but overall a beautiful course. Will no doubt play here again.

Course is a good course. It could be a great course with a little help. 3 greens need to be redone completely. And a beer person especially on holiday weekends would be a plus. Water buckets would also be great. All 3 greens are on the back 9 and if they would repair those this course would be one of the better courses in the area.

Great value for the price. I like this course. Pace was great and the staff is always great. I will be back, and would definitely recommend the golf course.

We teed off at 10 and the pace was great. We enjoyed playing here. The course was in pretty good shape. A few of the greens were a tiny bit rough but definitely playable. The greens were slow today. I definitely won’t recommend playing here. The staff are always friendly. Great deal for the money!

Always a good time for my son and I at Sherman Hills Golf Club. Courses are in great shape and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you like a links style front 9, Sherman Hills is it. The back 9 are a bit more challenging but lots of fun to plat. The 18th hole is very picturesque but looks can be deceiving on this hole. Hit it too hard and you'll wind up in the water, it definitely challenges your short game. Love this course!

Your grounds keeper driving around in the gator needs to learn some manners. There is no excuse for him to address any customer with his foul language for any reason, along with his sidekick. He needs to be fired. No excuse for his driving around to groups of golfers cussing.

As far as the course goes, it was a good course in good conditions. However be prepared to be rushed throughout the round. Truthfully the pace of play was fast with the group of locals behind us pushing us. 18 holes completed in 3-hours!!!! Rules of golf dictate you do not hit a drive until the team ahead is on the green.

Tough course. 3 of the greens are being worked on. The fairways need to be defined a bit better (due to the hilly conditions). Great staff.

Going early doesn't help because the tee boxes are usually backed up. They plugged the greens without a discount. Some of the greens are burnt up with spots without grass. They also sometimes turn the sprinklers on the greens on with people still trying to play. Great staff and an otherwise enjoyable experience. Challenging lay out and fun round.

Some reviews were accurate regarding some Greens having issues, and they had recently aerated. They are now healing up nicely, and need to be mowed soon. Knowing they were recently treated and needed mowing, I adjusted my putting and enjoyed the round. Sherman Hills is ALWAYS WINDY, so prepare for some real stiff winds. I thought it was worth the Hot Deal price and play there again soon.

I think you should close for 2 or 3 months and fix the 4 greens then you would get more repeat customers I think for full price golfers are mad at the price for those 4 greens . I like the course and I think you could change more in the winter months if you fixed those 4 .

Why would you book not 1 but 2 leagues on an open play Saturday ????? Our t time was 10.46 and we got out at 11.30. 10 carts ahead of us on the 1st tee box. This is the worst time I have had at Sherman Hills ever !!!!! Plus there are still greens on the back 9 that you cant putt on. Get with it or you won't see me back again.
