Love the Front Nine

Don't love the back as much. LOL. One par 5 and one par 3...and a par 4 for the guys that is impossible (#10). BUT it's a pretty course, especially the front nine!

Excellent Course

The only negative - and this is a very small one - is that the back nine is all 4's, with just one 3 and 5. I like 3's and 5's so that was a slight disappointment. Otherwise, a great course for the price.

Fun, enjoyable winter round

The Oasis Canyons GC is a well kept course that impressed me the first time I played it a few weeks prior that when in the area I quickly reserved a tee time when it became an option to play; the cart attendants were very friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and easy; the course was in very good shape, and the only issue which was minor was the slower pace of play, but it was so negligible but present; I have enjoyed the three rounds I have played at this club (Canyons-2, Palmer-1), and I expect to play these course more when in the area.

Great course with outstanding views

There’s a reason they call this course “Canyons”! Lots of elevation changes with several par 3s with VERY elevated tees. Course is narrow with trouble on both sides, need to be straight off the tee. Really enjoyed the challenge. Perfect day with no wind and 65 degrees in the middle of December.

Winter Play

Excellent condition for winter play. Obvious desert course so the western drought has a definite impact but you wouldn't know it. Challenging course especially for the beginner.

Great first round experience; will return

The Oasis GC Canyons course provided an excellent first time experience that will bring us back; I had played the Palmer course a few months earlier and came in expecting another great round, and we were not disappointed; the course was in good shape for a winter golf round in cooler temperatures, and the pave of play was quite good after we were allowed to play through the foursome in front of us; the staff was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome, and the overall experience was wonderful even with a powerful windy rain episode on a par-3 downhill tee box; we will definitely look forward to returning again.
