Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta
About
Located in the eastern half of Coachella Valley, Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta (formerly known as "Coral Mountain Golf Club" and "The Golf Club at La Quinta") has a scenic desert landscape that showcases the beauty of southern California. Opened in 2002, the club hosted the PGA Tour LG SKINS from 2003 to 2006, testing the skills of pros like Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, and Tiger Woods. The golf course is situated at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, offering scenic views and a hilly terrain that provides interesting undulations in the greens. The rugged desert is accented by lush oases of dramatic water features, which of course serve as challenging hazards. There are also bunkers bordering the fairways and rolling greens. The golf course can be as challenging or as gentle as you like with several tees available, including the SKINS tees, which play at nearly 7,200 yards.

Golfer Reviews
Pristine
Tees, fairways, traps, and greens were all in pristine condition. Some might think the greens are too hard, but they are consistent, so you can typically take one club less than usual. The greens were on the fast side, but also very consistent. The staff was super friendly which is always welcome. Recommend.
Great course, multiple tee boxes, Skins game tees still available to play!
Course is great but greens were a let down
The course was awesome and I’m so glad it has reopened as it used to be one of my favourites, I was disappointed at how hard the greens were when I played yesterday unfortunately though and I’m hoping I just caught them on a bag day but the greens were like hitting into a parking lot even hitting a full wedge they just bounced. If it wasn’t for the greens this course would be a perfect 5/5 stars to me
Course is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Greens were fast.
Great Round
Got off earlier then our scheduled tee time, almost had the course to self. Weather was perfect and staff was great.
Amazing course layout in perfect condition.
First time playing trilogy and can’t wait to go back. Course was in pristine condition. Fun but fair lay out. Great views of the mountains.
I had a 3:15pm tee time for 18 holes with the assumption I would finish well in time with a 7:15pm sunset.
Only comment is they don’t tell you when you book (or when you check in) is that they want golf carts back at 6:30pm. We were told this on hole 10 and at 5:15pm. It made us rush through the back nine and we skipped a hole to get past a slow 4 some.
Other than that, awesome course
Exquisite condition
Best sand in the traps in the vicinity, this course is perfectly manicured from tee thru green. Anyone can play this course, very user friendly.Great practice facility. Excellent staff. Nice 4 hour round. This is a must play.
