6 Hour Round is all I need to say

I enjoyed the layout but the round was entirely too long. Would not play here again.

Good couse features but needs maintenance.

I really liked the challenging course layout, had good features but we got backed up on Fri afternoon. Nice new clean cart and enthusiastic staff but the greens and course in general needed attention.

Every hole is different, challenging, but never unfair. Not for the beginner!

I can birdie every hole on the course, but I have probably triple bogeyed them all over the years. Very satisfying to post a good score at this course. Be prepared for wind. It is not overwhelming unless you absolutely must keep your hair neat.

Great course expecially the greens

This course was well worth the money. It was challenging and at the same time fairly moderate to play. The greens were at times difficult to read and fairly fast. I would recommend this course over several others in the area.

the course was a little dry.

the course was a little dry and torn up in places. For the money it was a good value though. I must say working with Golfnow was a bit of a challenge trying to change a tee time to 20 minutes later for a toursome rather than a twosome 15 minutes earlier. Were not able to make the change.

Great course but plays too slow on Fridays

We had to quit on the 16th hole going on 5 hours. Don't play there on Fridays if they have a tournament going on!

Golf course is in excellent condition--greens are smooth and fast, fairways all kept green and moist, all 5 sets of tee boxes were well maintained and great staff.

I got a call from the cart barn when I got home that my second set of keys were left in my cart and had to go back next day to get them. Very friendly, capable staff!

Great find!

Finally decided to make the drive and play out here, and was pleasantly surprised! Course has a great layout, great views, and is in great shape. Haven't played much better for the money! I will definitely hit this track again! The course is very playable, and challenging at the same time (I play to scratch). Long par 3's, and great elevation changes!

Fun Course

Enjoyable layout. Touted as a "true links style", you could argue the description. Yes, there are few trees, most greens avoid forced carry approaches if you properly position your shot allowing bump-and-run or longish off-green putts, and wind is always present. The comparison stops there. The course is dirt based not sand, fairways have been heavily contoured with equipment, and it is obviously not on the ocean. Conditioning was fair--there were several fairway areas "under repair" and a few greens had bare spot issues, but not bad. Nice practice facilities, no houses, few parallel fairways. Fortunately, we had nobody in front of us the entire round so didn't experience the slow play others have complained about. Recommended.

Fun and challenging

This course began with a monster par 5 hole and ended with a monster par 5. In between were very challenging 3's and 4's. One par 4 was 400 yards! I've never played a course that had so many bunkers. And not little ones either. There were bunkers that looked like humongous baseball gloves. It was very fun and forced me to focus on accuracy, not necessarily distance. If you have never played here I highly recommend you try it. I really liked there driving range to. It was sloped downhill and hilly. Fun!!

Slow play

The group ahead of us were very slow, and they were at least a hole or more behind the group ahead of them, and we kept waiting for them. Marshall, should have come around asking them to catch up.

I want to "play while we are young."

Nice hilly golf course with fantastic views...

Had fun playing the course and almost birdied the second par 5 on the front nine which is a down hill very narrow hole. Just lipped out the put from 8 feet... Nice course with great staff... Pro shop guy was very nice and the starter is a very friendly guy too... Would recommend the course for a pleasant day of golf...

Slow Play... Greens in bad shape...

I have played this course 4 times in the last year. I have to say this is the first time we were able to get in all 18. This is only due to the group in front of us letting us play through on the 10th. The funny thing is there was nobody in front of them. Not really sure what the Marshalls due out there. Overall, the course is a great lay out and a lot of fun to play. The greens are in sad shape. It looks like a moon scape on some of the greens. I had to repair at leaset 3 to 5 ball marks on every green.

Greens need work

The course is in pretty nice shape except the greens have a lot of bad spots in them. You wonder if they know what they are doing. If you can play for around $20 it is worth the money.

Great course, friendly staff, awesome price.

Played on a hot Sunday. Course was packed, so pace of play was slower than normal. It's an open course with lots of chances to get into trouble. Plays long into a prevailing wind. Greens were firm, fast, and true (better than my putting).

Good deal good course!

I've played RR many times over the years. It continues to be a favorite of mine and well worth the drive. The course layout is interesting and quite challenging. Anywhere you play on the weekend things are going to back up from time to time. Roddy addresses this by have active marshals out on the course who friendly but firm. Whether your behind someone slow or the the guilty party the staff is participating in the resolution.

Good value, members attitude could be better

I thought the course was in good condition, however talking to some of the members that belong to the club, they said it is going down hill.

The members I spoke with didn't like how they are pretty much giving away tee times ($20) to play the course.

Anyways, it was very windy, course is challenging, many of the holes are into the wind, greens are in good shape, overall, good value using the golf now.

I liked the Delta View better, just my opinion.
