Played with 2 first timers to the course and they absolutely loved the lay out. Until next time.

This course is a good test. It has a variety of holes and elevations,
and plays tough in the windy conditions.

I was surprised with the ragged conditions surrounding the bunkers and in areas near the greens. It appears to be getting
LOTS of play. Pace was slow at 4:50.

I hope they are planning for a new fleet of carts ... our gas cart felt like it was 10 years old. For $25 special (greens sanded) it was still a good value.

This is a very good course. It is fair and challenging.
The course has always been in good condition. The only problem I have encountered is damage to the fairways by wild pigs. It was repaired last time I played. Everyone who works there is very friendly. I always highly recommend Roddy Ranch.

The course moved along well, we played as a foursome, about 4.5 to 5 hours. Marshall was cordial but the course was full.

Some bare spots, but the greens were overall in good shape
and fast, hence the term Roddy Ranch rollby. I was familiar,
but playing partners were not.

Great weather and views.

Play this course once a year, at least. Conditions of the green poor! They were fast, but lumpy, discolored, appears 2-3 different colored grasses trying to take over.

Windy day. Lost 6-7 balls in the weeds. I lose 1-2 balls per round. Some of my shot just off into the boundary grasses, couldn't find them.

Too much wind, too punishing... Teed off around noon. Wasn't done till 5:15! Slow play.

Won't be back any time soon.

This course is not for beginners! It is a really fun track! The winds got up to about 30 mph, actually had to use my driver (which I usually hit about 280) on a par 3! Overall, a fun course and friendly staff (it seems you get better treatment if you are a "member" of this "public" course).

Do not bother on any type of a busy day. How it could possibly take 5+ hours is impossible to understand. When we check in at 1pm for a 1:30 tee time we're told we are a half hour behind and we'd be lucky to get 12 holes in....what a JOKE! Obviously the staff could care less about pace of play and where their revenue stream comes from

I WILL NOT GO BACK! Do yourself a favor and find another place. Sad thing is it's a great layout :(

Drainage seems very good so the course could use some water to plush up a bit. The tee boxes could be alittle better leveled.

This is a tough course. It can be very unforgiving if you miss the fairway due to the terain and the natural grasses.

Fairway and greens are hard and fast.

if your handicap is 15 or greater - this course may be a little frustrating for you, but it is a fair test of your skills.

Roddy ranch is, in my opinion, the finest course in the Bay Area. And for the price they charge on a Saturday, there is no better value and can not be beaten. The course is fair, tough, and in excellent condition.

Good cours, greens use to be in better shape and faster, since 5-6 months ago they started to get slower and slower, I know some people don't like it but on the greens if you stoke good ball should roll where you wanted not where green decides where to take it

This is a very challenging but fun course with extremely fast greens. The staff are friendly and helpful and try their best to accomodate players. The course is located in the rolling foothills south of Antioch with views of the mountains and valleys

Great test of golf! Probably the best golf value in the Bay Area. It's close to home for me, so it's my go-to track.

Overall I like this course its a good challenge and value. My only complaint is the pace of play at times.

The course was in nice condition and the greens seem to be in healthier condition and less crusty. The only problem at this course is pace of play. It's not really a course for unskilled golfers who always find trouble.

Played Dec 31st. Fantastic condition for the middle of winter. Greens were fair, flat , and fast. Played as a single, was grouped with some members, very casual people and fun to play with, fanatical about their greens. Hillside course, nice views, all greens slope from the mountain to the bay. Location-wise, it's closer to Brentwood than Antioch.

It is a very nice place with reasonable price. I played four times this year, all my friends love this course, it's just a little bit far from south bay or tri-valley.

Different course in the summer time. Greens will be faster and when the kicks in it can be frustrating. I love playing this course but it a lot more enjoyable in the winter.
