Whisper creek is a wonderful place to play

.. .like everything now just because it's there doesnt mean it should be to your liking. Translation....golf knowledge and etiquette are no longer part of the enjoyment of golf.

Slow play... rude players... unfamiliar with golf knowledge. Is ruining a gentleman's game.

Whisper creek has fallen into this like all other courses.

Take the money and go have fun.

Poor daily conditions

Too high rates

Its accepted way to easily and the better golfer is penalized for the way golf has gotten..

Go enjoy. Whisper creek it's a great layout.

Just accept what the new norm is

This may as well be a Forest Preserve Course. Another Billy Casper disaster.

No sand in the bunkers, none.

Course design, amateurish. Forced layup par 5 to ensure that eagle and birdie are out of play for all but the longest hitters.

Homes tightly lining some of the holes, pass.

Save your money and play somewhere else

I tried this again after having not played it for a few years due to a prior bad maintenance experience. Unfortunately the bunkers on the course are ruined, and there are some areas with dead patches on the course. The pace of play took 2.5 hours for the first 9. There were lots of twosomes that could have been paired up to free up play and just were not.

The people were friendly but unfortunately I would not recommend unless the bunkers and conditions improve.

Whisper Creek is by far one of my favorite courses in the area. The fairways, tee boxes and greens are well maintained. The Touchscreen Interactive GPS adds to the whole experience. I can literally click on a spot in the fairway and it will tell me the exact yardage to that spot so I know which club to use. The staff is very friendly and I loved being able to eat at Jameson’s and walk right to the course afterwards. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a spectacular day of golf.

I was pleasantly surprised Great plays golf course cup up very well I miss the restaurant being open but you can sit out on the patio in order and they had a cart girl going around selling beverages and snacks If you’ve never golfed here before you may want to try it

Course was extremely wet. Just hadheavy rains over the weekend. Nothing the course could do about it

Whisper Creek has a great layout, the course is well maintained and the people are very friendly. This was my second time playing there in about 10 years and I’m looking forward to the next time I play there.

Just got back from Arizona and this was my first round playing up here under the current conditions ( coronavirus) and the course was in great shape. My only complaint is to please cut down the foam around the pin and make it about 1 to 1-1/2 inch below the top of the cup- the reason is to keep the integrity of the game intact and you still have the ball up high enough where as you can still grab it without reaching down into the hole. The majority of the course’s I played down in Scottsdale had it set up this way. On top of that if people are playing for money or keep a handicap- this allows you to take out the guess work whether or not the ball was in the hole when putting.

Course was is good condition and played after frost the nite before. Only a few diehards out so play was fast
