Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Always in good condition fast greens
Always a good condition and ran very good kind of a golf course nice range. Good food and drinks. Price is also good.
Well kept public track
Played this course with my father in law last week during twilight on a Sunday. Originally it was supposed to rain so it was empty! Got 18 in, in just over 3 hours. Greens are in great shape, nice range and short game area. Definitely a favorite of mine.

Always a great play
Played this as Cherry Hills growing up, and never fails to make me nostalgic. Course was in great condition, and the price is wonderful. Strongly advise those that have not made the trip to do so.
Great Round
This is a really nice course. It is challenging and fair. Pace was excellent for being packed. The bar has a great beer selection and staff is helpful and positive. I will bring my wife next time and look forward to it.

What a great course. Very challenging with many different obstacles. Pace of play is most always good. Didn’t use off course facilities this visit. Great course.
Coyote Run great track
I love Coyote run. You wouldn’t know it’s a park district golf course. Back 9 has something to challenge all levels of golfer.

Great course. Challenging thinking course. Best in the south side. Did not use any off course amenities. This is a great course.
Always a good experience
For the first day of spring, the course, and especially the greens, were in great shape. The staff is also always very friendly and accommodating. They know how to run a golf course! Looking forward to another great season at Coyote Run.
