Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

1ST TIME PLAYING THIS COURSE. THE CALENDAR SAYS NOVEMBER BUT IT WAS 70 AND WINDY ON THE BACK 9 WHICH GAVE OUR FOURSOME A CHALLENGING NINE HOLES WHICH CAPPED OFF A GREAT DAY OF GOLF.I WILL BE BACK IN THE SPRING.NO LEAVES ON THE COURSE AND THE SAND TRAPS WHERE VERY SOFT AND PLAYABLE!
Good fall round.
Course is in excellent shape. Very great problems finding balls in the leaves because fairways are wide and course is mainly links style. Good pace of play and friendly staff.
Fun course
The fairways were generous and the greens were very good speed and in great condition.
I thoroughly enjoyed my round
Coyote
Exceptionally well maintained course. Layout doesn’t knock your socks off but a very good course.
Hidden Gem in South Chicagoland
This is one of my favorite courses in the South Suburbs, the staff is exceptional and the course is in awesome shape! The greens rolled true even though they had recently been aerated, they are in perfect shape for these last few fall rounds of golf! Pace of play was great, course Marshall kept things moving along — our foursome only wait was from 15 to the clubhouse, which is expected - those are the championship holes and if you are a serious golfer you are more focused during this stretch at least that is my opinion! I would play this course monthly - the Par 3s will test you’re nerves and don’t let hole 7 or hole 12 fool you — you can let it get away from you on either of these holes if you aren’t careful ... enjoy Coyote Run!
Not bad at all!
Not bad from a course perspective. It was a Saturday afternoon, and there was no rangers, so it would've been nice to have them there to usher people along. The pace of play was SUPPPPER slow, and we didn't finish our round.
Good course. Slow pace
Might have just been the day. Wind was up and The group in front of us had a tough day it seemed. But good lay out. Good short fun track
Very solid
One of the better public courses in Chicago. Highly recommend. Not a harbor side but not turkey creek either. Great staff and relatively close!
Great course
I have always loved this course, today played really slow today over 4 hours for a Friday morning early tee time.
