Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Really nice course! Well manicured.
Course is challenging in a fun way. With an Audubon Society rating golfers enjoy beautiful wildflowers, butterflies and natural grasses.... a pleasure to play.
Nice Course
Paid $65 per person for 18 w/cart for two people. Wasn’t expected to have to share a cart AND be paired with two other golfers!
Not sure if that’s the norm, but seems like they would notify in advance when booking, if that were the case (especially for the price)
All in all, had a good time, but would like to be made aware ahead of time what exactly I’m paying for.
First Coyote Run
Course maintenance is immaculate. Definitely one of the better courses in the south Chicagoland are
The green
The green were damp because of the dew so we had to play it a little different. We had a early morning tee time. The fairways were great and short enough. Even the ruff was nice. Was a bit challenging with the course layout.
Great place
Love this place. Social distancing was top top notch. Great facility. I will return
Challenging but fair
courses in great shape great layout, key boxes need a little work
Great shape. Slow at twilight (2 fivesomes)
The course was fantastic. Not that I want to be in them, but this was the first course I've played all summer where the sand traps were actually groomed and maintained. Kudos to the staff for not using COVID as an excuse in this area as it seems all other southland courses have. Most courses haven't even acknowledged that they have sand traps.
This is a fun layout with some short par-4s and reachable par 5's to tempt you. Still takes a good shot to be rewarded. Greens were fast, but fair. Fairways in fantastic shape and rough was lush but balls were findable.
CONS: Played at 5:10 pm. First 2 holes were wide open and played fast before coming upon back-to-back 5-somes. Yes 2 5-somes. On top of that these gentlemen thought they were on TV playing for millions...not one iota of effort toward ready golf. Played the next 2 holes in 45 minutes before skipping 2 holes and jumping around them. A single and a foursome behind us also eventually made the same choice. After that the course was wide open. Some coaching and enforcement regarding pace of play would be helpful.
Will play again though!! Hope to see the 2 skipped holes then.
Nice track
First time playing this course. It is challenging with lots of water yet forgiving with many wide fairways if your drive isn’t straight. The staff is very friendly. They are taking Covid seriously and are following all guidelines. I’d definitely play this course again.
A short but sporty course that lets you play all the clubs in your bag from the tips.
Greens are fast but a little beat up. It was really crowded for twilight golf. No cart girl in sight after 5pm.
Summer Golf
Another idyllic summer afternoon round of golf at CR.
Great Course
Love that it has minimal cart paths you may have to walk on really rainy days but I like the course
