Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Exceeds expectations
When you sign up for a round this cheap you aren't expecting much, but Coyote Run is great value. The course is in immaculate conditions right now. The greens roll very true. The first few holes are pretty basic but after that the course has some interesting holes. It is definitely not difficult but just a very fair course.
Great walk
Fairways are generous. Holes close enough for an easy walk but not too close for worry free play. Played aftet the rain and course drained well. Soft fairways but very few puddles. Slow greens but I blame the rain.

Have played this course many times and always well maintained. Good food and the Staff is Great. During this Pandemic, they have done everything they can with bookings and bad weather.
Great course and excellent value!
It was my first time playing here but definitely won’t be my last! The course has a fantastic layout that’s challenging to all skill levels while being fair. Everything is in excellent condition, especially given the cold and rainy weather we’ve had recently. The employees were friendly and helpful too. It’s a great course and a tremendous value for the price, I’d highly recommend it!!
Great course for the money. Great staff too!
I could not play 5-13, but the 6 that did, were happy. During this pandemic, they have done all they can to accommodate us. Have them booked 2 more times this month!
Always in great playing condition
I play league and recreationally here and it's always in great playing condition year round.
Solid value
This is a good solid golf course. Good layout. Plenty of challenges. Reasonably priced. Easy to get to.
Excellent Greens
Loved the speed and contour’s of the greens ! Short course but greens make the course challenging.
Nice but........
Other than the starter, the staff is excellent especially the guy With the shaved head in the clubhouse. So helpful and cheery. Now back to the starter. I have played this course about a dozen times this year and the only experience I dread at Coyote Run is my interaction with the old cranky starter. The guy is just mean and rude. Last Saturday was the worst of the all. Checking in I know the drill. You have to sign a separate log for the cart. As I was waiting there to sign it he cart log, the old stares at me and rudely state “what are you waiting for, go!” I then asked don’t I need to sign the cart log? He yells no!!! Wtf.
