Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

This is a nice course that is well maintained. Pace of play was great and i’ve already booked my next round.
Will be back
Bought a golf now hot deal to play the course for $33. Upon check in I was asked how much I paid for the hot deal. I was then given a coupon for a $30 tee time to come back to the course within the next two weeks. That's a really good deal! Course was in good shape overall. Greens we're marked up a bit with people not fixing their ball marks. Lot of short par 4's and really short par 3's if playing from the white tees. Pace of play was 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Starter made sure to get us out and not let a group that was trying to go ahead of us jump the line which was great. Only complaint is the cart girl disappeared after hole 12 after saying she would be back around. We were left without beverages on the last 6 holes when had we known she would leave we would have stocked up.
First time playing at coyote run and everyrhing went smooth from check in to first tee. Very friendly staff and the course was in great condition. fairways are wide and the layout was good. Lots of water and sand traps to challenge the seasoned players and beginners. I would definitely come back and play again.
Good value for what paid
Course in very nice condition greens rolled well bunkers in nice shape. Not a difficult course but good value for the money.
Pace of play was extremely slow!
With the tee offs are so close together, it made the usual round much longer! We waited on every hole! The ranger said it was one group and would open after hole 12! It didn't! We left after 15 because we had dinner reservations! Maybe I've learned my lesson about weekend golf!
Worth the mone, very playable!
One of my favorite courses for the money spent. Pace was a little slower because it was a weekend. But have played the course during the week and pace has never been a problem. Worth the money if you are in south Chicago area!!
Excellent conditions. I’ve layout.
This course is very well conditioned and fun to play. When the wind blows, it can also be very challenging. A good value as well
Always a good day at golf
Course was in good shape for winter play and the day was absolutely amazing
Great course
I have played this course since it opened. Last year I played in their men's league and it was great. My only complaint is that the bunkers are nadty. Sand is always hard. You cannot play a normal bunker shot, you have to pick you ball for the bunkers. Other than that great layout, not overly long, great for us seniors. There are two sets of green fees, one for residents and one for non residents. Staff is awesome, very friendly.
