Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Nice course
Fun course to play. A neat layout where you're not pulling out your driver on every par 4.
We played as a foursome and didn't have to wait for players in front of us. However, we had two twosomes and two singles we had to let through. I don't mind letting others play through, but, the starter should have grouped these guys up.
All in all, a fun course
Bad course conditions
I have played this course several times over the years and it's usually in great shape. However, I couldn't believe how dry it was. We have had quite a bit of rain this spring but apparently it hit everywhere except coyote run. The fairways were more like paved runways. The freshly aerated "greens" offered the speed of ice and nice bumpy surprises. Course layout is nice and the amenities are good but the course conditions were so disappointing, I felt the need to apologize to the others in my foursome for booking this course.
Ranger
All staff was very friendly accept ranger on course he was very rude and unfriendly other than that course was butifull.
Nice greens
Course is pretty straightforward. Good conditions (fairways were recently aerated) with wide fairways and big greens. Greens rolled smooth and fast.
May 7, 2017. Nice outing
The course was in excellent condition. Not very challenging in terms of hazards but enough so for my abilities. Greens fee includes a cart which interferes with any thoughts of walking the course. On the other hand, the pace was good and we were neither held up nor did we hold up any following parties.

This is a well maintained course with a friendly staff. One of my favorites in the South Suburbs.

Best course played this year so far.
With all the rain the area has had it did not pose a problem as course drained good. Not a real long course 6450 back tees. Greens, sand traps and tee all in great shape. Will be back. Great course for you to play.
Ready For Play Anytime
Coyote Run has well deserved reputation as the best drainage in Chicago suburbs. Short but challenging. Restaurant inside clubhouse is top notch.

The course was in good shape after significant rains the day prior.
Great course
The course was in excellent condition for being end of summer. Had light rain staff was friendly to dry the cart off. They also offered rain check if we were to get more rain. Once out there it cleared up and finished 18 in 3 hours fast round.
Course is in great condition and the greens are very true.
My wife and i enjoyed the course as it is just right for her skill level and gives me an excellent opportunity to sharpen my skills as well.
Course is in gr8 condition for the amount of play it recieves.

Pace of Play
If you care about pace of play at all, do not go to this course with less then 4 people. The ranger doesn't care, and you probably won't see him after the first tee unless he's changing out water coolers. Fun course, great value, but without rangers that know what their job is, you're signing up for a looooooooong day.
Sporty layout
Sporty layout that you need to plan for second shots on quite a few holes. Not long so you can leave ther driver in the bag on some par 4s. Greens were in great shape as was most of the course. Great value for a good course.
