Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Coyote run
The course was in very good shape. Fairways: very good. Greens: very good. Sand traps: very good. Rough: thick but playable very nice. Over all excellent shape . Will play again
Pleasantly Enjoyed
This was my first time playing this course and me and my playing partner were joined with a Father and son to complete our foursome. The weather was perfect, our playing partners were great and Bob, the father, plays here every week. Playing this course for the first time and just getting back to golf this year after a long layoff made this course quite a challenge for me. The staff was very friendly and although we were running late and missed our Golf Now tee time by about ten minutes they were very accomadating. The course was in great shape with the exception of one or two greens pitted with ball marks. The fairways were very good and in certain areas the rough was a little long but fair and quite challenging. The beverage cart girl was visible but could have been more aggressive in asking if we wanted anything because we actually had to yell and call her twice after she road by. The day was very enjoyable and I will be back again soon after shooting one of my best scores of the year so far.
Visiting my daughter who rarely plays, we had a great time
Great features, by intimidating but challenging
Challenging but Fair
This is the 5th time playing Coyote Run, and I like it more each time. Course conditions are impeccable for a public facility. The course itself is not terribly long, but plays further than what visually appears. Twilight and off season rates are very reasonable. Look forward to playing again in the near future.
Great coursr
Course was well maintained
Nice value
This was a nice course for the money. I would play it again if it were closer to where I live. Played 18 in less than 4.5 hours and was pleasantly surprised on the condition of the course.
Course in great condition
This course was in great condition as usual. I've played it multiple times and the greens are always well maintained, fairways, tee boxes and rough mowed. Even the bunkers were in good shape. The course has a lot of short par 4's. My only complaint is price. $62 is pretty steep to play. The golfnow hot deal makes it worth it though.
Must Play Golf Course
It was 90 degrees out and a full tee sheet. We had a great time on a well maintained course. Staff and Rangers made sure pace of play wasn't an issue as well as offering water refills on a day when it was extremely hot. Not enough words to describe this place. I can't believe that as much as I play that this was the first time I have been here.
Slow Sunday
Beautiful day out but there was an outing playing so we were waiting in every hole. Other than that pretty good day. Well maintained. Would return.
Great for early morning 18 on weekends
All around a great course. Pace of play was a little slow as we were behind some walkers who were beginner golfers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course conditions were great.
Leo
Great course, well maintained and definitely reasonably priced.

LJ review
Course was in good condition for the time of year. Very fast greens
December golf in Chicago
Played here on a unusually warm December Saturday morning. Pro shop was very accommodating and the manager is very nice gentleman.
For December, the course was in great shape with greens rolling true. My first time playing this course and i thought they layout was friendly and enjoyable. Not a long course yardage wise from the Tips, however some long par 3s will make the scoring difficult.
Saw a beautiful eagle perched on the tee box sign of 18 coming home. Overall i am looking forward to returning next season.
Great condition
For October and 3 weeks after aeration the course and greens were in great shape.
Course in good shape
The courselves always in good shape. However it's overpriced at regular rates. Staff is generally friendly except a couple of the pro shop desk attendants are less than...especially if you're not one of the "regulars". It has nothing to do with the course but, shockingly, a passing motorist called us the "n word" while we were teeing off on # 13, well away from the club house. Btw, I'm a senior tax paying resident of Flossmoor.
nice relaxing round
I am a 95 to 100 player this year. It's the first time that I have played regular at least twice a week .
In my opinion Coyote Run is one of the best course I have played .
