Bear Creek Valley Golf Club

One of my favorite courses at The Lake, hot deal on Golf Now make it worth the drive from Springfield.

This course was a tough. Lots of elevation changes and blind landings and shots. The greens were soft but rolled true. Fairways were very well maintained, not that I was in them much. With the exception of a few holes, if you are a 10 yards off the fairway player this course will be a challenge. Staff was friendly as well. The only downside is the is only one place to get beer on the course and no beer cart. Finished right at four hours. Will be back.

Great little golf course. Kind of hidden, but a good course to play. Pace of play is usually good, except Day I play 9 July 2019. Had some cronies out playing and it was slow. Still played 18 in just over 4 hours. I will play this course every time I’m in the Ozarks!

The course was in great shape and very challenging. The layout makes it impossible to walk it- but the hills and design are a treat! The water hazard on #1 hole is creative and beautiful. The back nine provides large hills and slopes and Beautiful scenery.

The lady behind the counter at the pro shop is a very nice and professional person.

It was a great time playing here and we will return every time we visit the lake!

The Best kept course at LOK that I have played so far. Cart paths in great shape, greens are fast, fairways mowed close.

The course is always is good conditions. Very interesting layout with different holes. Course is not tight; but,, you must keep control of your golf ball because it is not wide open on most holes. It is just an exceptional value!

Had a great time playing the course and it was in great shape! Get to play this course once or twice a year and this time it was in the best shape I have seen it. The day started off a little rough with the snarky gal in the pro shop.

Excellent Golf Course, some difficult holes and some short Par 4 holes

Very nice course with challenging layout and perfect greens. Extremely fair.

First time playing Bear Creek, very friendly staff at the club house. Sent me out :25 early. Played the first 4 holes on pace but then ran into a very slow Fivesome. (A Fivesome, really?) a single was also ahead of me. He waited on the fairway and I at the tee box for this Fivesome which took :12 on the green. He reported it but saw no Marshall to come and break them up or hurry their pace of play.

Course was a little wet in sports as the area has had a lot of rain in the past week. Greens were tough with very subtleties as I had numerous 3 putts but that could be my putting stroke just stunk that day. Most greens had some bald and under repair spots and most were not marked so “rub of the green” played a problem on some.

Fun course to play but with the layout and possible difficulties I could see 5 hour rounds durning a busier day.

Really nice course, 5 tee boxes, The greens are in great shape, plenty of elevation with tee boxes and greens. The fairways are very wide open as well. Not penalized too bad if you miss a fairway. Pat 5 hole 17 is one of the best par 5’s in public golf

Definitely a must play ! Course was in great shape. The greens were verticut yesterday and had fresh sand top dressing and I hate that but the ball still rolled well. Just a beautiful course with amazing views !!! No houses on any hole and fairway grass was perfect !

Played here couple times before. Course was in good shape and well maintained. Restrooms were very clean out on the course. Get a styrofoam cup of ice/water just inside the golf cart garage and then can refill throughout the course.

We loved this course. Going up and down the hills...it was so much fun!

Course is in beautiful shape. Greens were very good. Fairways were very nice. The views are stunning on some of the holes. This place is fun to play.
