Bear Creek Valley Golf Club

I have played this course a half dozen times and it amazes me each time I play. Narrow fairways with woods as rough and extremely difficult greens to read make it a Great couples best ball course for those that are shy and timid with tough courses. Beautiful in spring and fall.

Love this course. Like the layout. Always fun to play. I’ve played it every year for the last two and will play again in July 2019 when on vacation.

A challenging course but fair. Easier front 9 than back. Loved the greens.

Enjoyed playing this course. Fairways were good, greens were in great shape. Hole 17 was a par 3 all down hill, my favorite so far of the Ozark courses I’ve played. Range was closed for the year.

Lots of elevation difference. Very scenic layout. Extremely fast greens such that some pin locations were unfair. Good value.

I love a course where you pretty much only see the hole you are on. That's the case for most of the holes at Bear Creek Valley. It is cut out of the forest and hills in the lake of the ozarks area. Very scenic. It has elevation changes on almost every hole. bring your thinking cap with you when you play here.

Love the course. Play was very slow, first time for that in 10 years. Play it every year.

The course was fantastic, the changes in elevation were challenging and provided scenic views. Hole 10 was temporarily closed so we played two different balls on hole 16 to complete the round. Staff also provided a free drink at the end of the round, which was a nice gesture. I look forward to a return trip.

CHALLENGING BUT FUN. MANY "BLIND" SHOTS TO THE GREEN.

We booked a tee time for 12 golfers to play our yearly family scramble. We hadn't played this course before so we figured we would give it a try. Upon arriving at the course we were told that hole 10 was closed due to green conditions and offered no discount. They offered us one free drink instead. Most of the greens were in bad shape and at least one had an area that was fenced off. Workers continually ran golf carts down paths and holes while we were taking swings. I will not be playing here again and would recommend other golfers play somewhere else.

Like hiking with a golf cart thru the woods sometimes challenging

Played a Monday afternoon thinking it wouldn’t be too crowded and we were right. Nobody behind us for 5 holes. Just a mile off the strip in Osage and you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. No houses/condos which was nice. Course was tight in spots but fair. Forward tees were a perfect advantage for my wife. Fairways and tees were perfect. There were some greens that were rough but most were fine. They were aerating number 10 green when we were playing it. Looked like it was mostly dead. Tough starting hole with a 200 carry over water then blind shot to the green with a pond in front. I would like to play that one over. Don’t know if they allow walkers but I wouldn’t advise it!

Second time I've played this course. I really like it. Not very long, but does require good accurate shots. Greens were in good shape, though I did find several divots, which I fixed besides my own. Putting was very reliable. Just really like this course.

Had a screaming deal on this course. Very hilly course and in good shape. Would play it again and interesting layout, make sure you take extra clubs for long uphill shots.
