Dos Lagos Golf Course

The starter was flustered and appeared disorganized due to trouble he was having with the handheld check-in system on the first tee. He got pretty short with the golfers and kept getting confused, and it caused an unnecessary delay at the start of the round. Other than that, however, the overall experience was good. The blonde woman working the bar was on it and friendly.

Had a great time yesterday. Weather was perfect, course in great shape, very friendly staff at check in and at yhe first tee!

This course really challenges you, and in my opinion this course is more of target golf. Pace of play this time around was slower, played 5.5 hrs of golf, don’t get me wrong loved it but they had the course kind of stacked. But always a fun course to play, will def play again!

Got a tee time 2 days before, right in the middle of the day. Course was in great shape. Amenities are lacking, but if you are going for golf and not a big clubhouse, this is the place. Got a senior discount, and the course is fun to play. Hadn't been back here in 14 years, won't wait that long again. Will definitely put course back into my regular rotation of publics.

Been coming here since they opened, this place has seen better days. Although dos hasnt price gauge its customers like most courses have since covid thats maybe why the fairways and tee boxes have suffered. I know it rained 2 days before teeing off on Saturday… i got no notification that it was cart path only . Maybe an email to notify groups and maybe a discount. I will always say the first teebox should be the 10th hole. That would improve pace of play and it should be 12 minutes in between tee times.

Dos Lagos is a picturesque course that gets a huge amount of traffic during a given day. In fact, we were shocked to see how many carts were stacked up at the first teebox when we were leaving. They have never price gauged their green fees so that is commendable.

On the day we played we were surprised to hear it was “cart path only” as there were no noticeable muddy or wet areas on the course. In fact, I’ve never seen Dos this yellow and dry far as fairways go. I get So Cal has been cold but hopefully this past weeks rain helps Dos get its mojo back when it comes to a playable fairway lie.

ANY pace of play issue (yes manager pay attention) can be resolved by timing out your tee times 10min apart instead of 8 and starting people on the easier 10th hole (make it #1) instead of the narrow, penal first hole . Flip the 9’s and see your pace of play issue improve overnight !

Only three group on the course, the pace of play is perfect. The green is very fast even if the grass is wet.

It took 6 HOURS to finish our round. One time I counted 24 golf carts that I could see from where I could see from where I was standing.

To make matters worse, the course was in terrible condition. It was like a minefield in the fairways. There's almost no shade and almost no green. The only redeeming factor was the greens. They were in very good condition.

I definitely won't be coming back here.

A pretty hard course, but very fun.

Beautiful back 9 and awesome staff.

They forced me to skip hole 1 and I was there at the tee box 1 minute before my tee time. I’ve played hundreds of rounds that’s the first time I’ve ever been forced to skip a hole when I’m before the tee time !

A lot of big groups more than four people that took more than 5 1/2 six hours to play would recommend staff to have a Marshall break up some of these groups
