About
del Lago Golf Club sits at an elevation of 3,400 feet, enjoying a temperature that is five degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer, which makes a big difference under the hot Arizona sun. Winding through the hills and valleys of the high desert, the golf course features over 120 feet of elevation changes that present tricky uneven lies. The dramatic undulations also offer beautiful views of the Rincon and Santa Catalinas Mountain ranges. Golfers start at the highest point on the course and then play down into the valley before getting to the back nine, which plays along the Pantano Wash. The first hole is the only forced carry on the course, the remaining holes are friendlier off the tees. Seven lakes dot the golf course, coming into play on six holes, and there is also heavy bunkering around the greens.

Windy
It was very windy the day we played yet it was still fun. The starter took the cheat sheet and showed me exactly where to hit the ball for the best results. All I had to do was evacuate. Great time

Great Course
This course had a very dynamic layout & certainly 100% comparable to courses that are triple the price!!! The course was in fine shape with EXCELLENT & challenging greens. The starter, Lou, was an awesome, friendly & informational staff member. A real pleasure to talk to Lou who gave very helpful tips about the course. GREAT overall experience...plus, the hotdogs at the turn were delicious!!!

Where’s the sand?
Nice layout. Fairways, tee boxes and greens in great shape but the bunkers had no sand. Too bad.

Still a pleasure to play.
My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed our round. The lack of sand in the traps was the only downside. The pace of play and the amenities were great. The price was a little bit more than expected but on average for golf during the winter season.

Del Lago was Great!
Booked a last-minute teatime and I had played here before in the past. The course was in great condition. The weather conditions were extremely windy which made this course even more difficult than it already is. I will definitely be back to play this course again

Would recommend
Great layout, the starter did a great job giving us an overall description of every hole which us as first time players at the course was very helpful.
Sand traps were terrible.ether then that the course was in great shape.
Need to do a better job of spacing groups, as an example before we even hit our drivers on the first tee box a foursome pulled up behind us, happened on most of the tee boxes……..annoying and they lacked proper etiquette . Hitting in to us on several.

Challenging and fun
Fairways and greens in good shape and someone needs to pick up the garbage and litter around the course. The sand traps Badly need sand.

Good Course
Course could use some tidying up. Lots of trash off course.

Overall good course
Bunkers are unplayable - terrible. Rocks . Good job overseeding the golf course. Ranger needs to do a better job managing pace of play. Greens good.

Always a good time
Play the course every couple of months. SUPER windy today so challenging course was that much more challenging. Super bowl sunday so we were leisurely golfing with no pace of play issues. Sand traps are an absolute joke and they tell you to drop out of them. Greens were lightning fast and very challenging. Starter ALWAYS has to give you a 3-5 minute spiel despite telling him you've played here a lot.
