As always this course presents many challenges on every hole. A great layout with shot options galore. Albeit the course played slow due to recent monsoon rains, every shot had to be calculated. The greens were much slower than they looked, which made putting a higher priority for scoring.

Tee boxes and greens were solid. Fairways and bunkers need attention.

Did not know only front nine was open for play, made for a not as enjoyable round

Played here last year and course condition vastly improved. Unbelievable summer rate and wasn’t busy at all. Restaurant lovely and all staff friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

course is in great shape considering the amount of rain we have had lately. the rough is overdue for mowing. Holes 10 and 11 are extremely noisy due to the new housing development being built. You have to put up with loud music, nail guns, heavy construction beeping, etc. Last time we played here, we had 3 construction workers walking up the cart path with a wheelbarrel as we were teeing off. This time, on hole 11, construction workers were purposely harrassing us with shrilling screams and shouting during every shot we took: tee, fairway and putting. i know the course can't control this, but someone shoud. very annoying and hurt our game on these 2 holes. not the relaxing back 9 it used to be.

With all the monsoon rains over the last several weeks, the course was in very good condition. Greens rolled well, but were a little slower than expected. One item noted is don't hit a ball just outside the fairway into ruff as the weeds and other material was excessive. Finding a ball was a lost cause to say the least.

This is a nice course with a nice layout and considering this is summer in Arizona the conditions are pretty darn good. I was just disappointed and it amazes me that They don’t automatically have an ice chest on every cart. I was told I could go to the bar but when I went into the bar no one was around and so I I left. Other courses I play in Arizona except for one which I do not remember the course, always have an ice bucket with ice on the cart ready to go. But I did enjoy the course and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a tough course. Not recommended if you can't shoot below 100 for 18 holes. Course is in good shape but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Course Conditions on 7/17/21:

Tee boxes- 4.5/5 No complaints.

Fairways- 3/5 Good but not fantastic. Few dead dirt patches here and there but nothing that affected scoring. I've seen the fairways in better shape here in the summer but they are better than most places in Tucson right now.

Rough- 4/5 At least they have grass for the rough instead of hard pan.

Greens- 4/5 Greens were in great shape but put slow as do all courses in Tucson.

Bunkers- 0/5 Bunkers not even playable. Large rocks and dirt so hard and compacted it will liberally put a gash in your wedge and I'm not joking. This is my biggest gripe with del Lago. They really need to fix the bunkers.

Driving range: 4.5/5 best tee boxes on a range in tucson I know of.

Course in good shape.....keep up the good work. Staff friendly...especially starter. We have always enjoyed playing at Del Lago. Has good character.

Highly recommended course just outside Tucson. Friendly staff, nice practice range and putting green. My twosome played in 3:15 mostly because we are rusty and looked for errant shots too often. Fairways and greens in great condition. Tee markers were placed in many uneven areas but this could be easily remedied. As many have said, bunkers are TERRIBLE. I've played here over the past three years and they haven't improved. Just agree with your playing partners to lift and drop outside. Really, they should let them grow over and mow.

I'll definitely play again in the summer when the snowbirds are away. It's one of the best $40 options in Tucson.

I have played this course many times and found it to always be challenging. The views are spectacular. Overall course condition is better than most in the area. Great staff and pace of play was surprisingly good for being a Sunday morning. The only issue they have right now is the bunkers, but they are scheduled to fix them very soon. Very much a desert course that requires you to be able to control distance and accuracy. Also a great value for the price. Put this one on your list to play. You will enjoy yourself!

Fairways decent, some dry spots. Grrrns slow but smooth and held. Bunkers have always needed work here. Stuff very friendly and accommodating.
