Layout is a little awkward but Fairways & greens are in good condition.

In decent shape for the middle of the summer. Pace was good since the course was fairly empty at 11:00 on a very hot day. Played difficult as there was a strong wind. Course can play fairly easy or if there is a lot of wind it can be tough scoring. Greens appeared to be punched fairly recently, so will get smoother in time.

I hate when course ouch their greens and never tell you that ahead of time or put it on their site. If nothing else let us know and let us choose to play. And full price? Really? Same as if they weren’t punched. That is horrible on them and very deceptive to the people that pay and keep this course going. I will not golf this place again this summer and I normally play multiple times a year.

Staff is always friendly though and carts were ready. So it can’t be said that everything was bad. The kid running the course that morning was just doing his job and had no call about letting know in advance that greens were punched.

This is an awesome course and my Husband and I enjoy it each time we play. It is challenging and fun!

Not notified in advance that greens were aerated and that back nine holes was closed.

Played front nine twice for 18 holes

Found out the day off that only the back-9 would be available and we'd have to play it twice. Despite arriving over 30 mins early to warm up, we were all rushed and assembly-lined into the round 10-12 mins early and STACKED back to back to back to back on 9 holes...twice. No beverage cart through 18 holes...on ONE side of the course!

The round was HOT garbage, and not just because it's summer in Arizona. Disappointing.

For summer time, course was in great shape most areas. Greens rolled well and pace of play was fine. Finished the round in 3.5 hrs. Would recommend and play again.

Great course layout, a few difficult holes but easy to manage. This time aeration of fairways going on greens are in good shape.

I enjoyed my day there. Will play again probably several times.

Sundance is a decent course for the money, pretty laid back, course is decently maintained, no issues there. The big problem with this course is the regulars/members whatever you wanna call them. I’ve played here dozens of times over the last 5 years and the people just get worse. I average 18 holes in about 4 hours and people behind you still hit into you, act entitled and it’s just generally not enjoyable when you’re feeling rushed the whole time. I’ve been in 3 verbal arguments with people at this course because they would hit into the green when I’m still on it! And to give some background I have been golfing for 30 years, I am a 12 handicap these days but was a 7 at one time. I drive the ball about 280-300 and I have a simulator in my garage so I am not a pro but I don’t suck either. The way people here treat you is just sad.
