About

Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Pleasant Discovery

The proximity to our house rental as well as a comments from a regular patron of this course prompted us to give it a try. We found that the green fees were completive but more that the conditions and layout of the course reflected good value.

Not for High Handicappers

Not recommended for high handicap players. Extreme punishment for not hitting straight down the middle. Definitely more fit as a challenge to a low handicap player.

Tee time was 1.45. Got on at 2.30. Shortage of carts, then stacked up so very slow play. Only got 12 holes played. Very disappointing!

Frustrated

2hrs45mins to play 9 holes. Complete crap when you have to wait on every shot. Couldn't take it any longer and packed it I after 9 along with another person in the 4some I was.playing with...ridiculous

When I arrived 45 minutes prior to my assigned tee time, I was told by the check-in staff that I would be going out early as there was cancellations ahead of me. I was told to be ready in 10 minutes. After a wait of 45 minutes I return to the check in and was told I'd be going out in 10 minutes. After that time had passed I drove my cart over to the starter and was informed that start times were all Haywire due to a men's group deciding to start without informing any staff. Needless to say after a 20 minute delay we finally were able to start our round.
