DarkHorse Golf Club

We got to play on a hot deal and course was in great shape. Layout is fantastic, lots of elevation changes and challenging holes. The scenery is fantastic. Not much of a clubhouse or restaurant but the course is worth $50 to play!

Beautiful inland Northern California course. Tough, but fair for accurate golfers. Lots of terrain. Greens are some of the best I’ve played. Plenty of opportunities to practice your trap shots, with perfect sand.

The course is a fun and challenging course worth the price. Unfortunately the club house staff and maintenance of the course was not the same. I was charged for 2 extra tee times because 2 of our 4some did not show due to Covid contact possibilities. Better safe then sorry. For some reason the course maintenance also decided to do some burn maintenance on the course during the prime time of the day to play. This caused smoke to cover 4 or 5 of the holes at different times. While not affecting golf, it was not fun to breath in smoke and ash as your are walking a hilly course.

Really nice course, but play was extremely slow. High handicappers bring alot of balls. No clubhouse just a small starter shack. Driving range only had a few mats open for some reason.

Darkhorse is a wonderful place to golf. It's in great condition and the greens are fast! It's a beautiful place to just be. Four sets of tees to choose from, the course will challenge golfers of every level. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great day on a beautiful, challenging course!

Course was in good shape for early February.. Could only play 10 holes because of very slow pace of play.. Pace was going to be a5 hour round as I was caught behind a Shotgun and multiple foursomes.

Golf carts they gave us were vert old . One cart had to be pushed by our other cart up hills the last 4 holes

Other than that the round was great,

That is the only reason for the lower rating I gave the course

Great design . It’s winter and course is top Shape.

The cart gentleman was most considered and polite.

I’ve played here a number of times as a single and have always been paired with fine fellows. The golf course staff is terrific. The course is in great shape for January.

Love playing this course. The fairways were in awesome condition. Greens rolled true.

Great course but a group of 5 was in front of us so our round was almost 5 hours. The white sands looks beautiful but play like powder.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and true but tough to read for first timer- very undulating compared to what I’m use to. Nice layout to make you think and challenge most shots. Played white tees (too short) but will play blue tees next time. Should be easier next time now I’ve seen the layout. Kinda bummed there’s no clubhouse for food and relaxation and carts were pretty meager. Overall enjoyed the round and worth the $.
